Full Face of BEST Powder Makeup

- Today, I’m applying only powder makeup to my entire face: foundation base, eyeshadows, eyebrows, eyeliner, bronzer, blush, highlighter and of course powder lipstick. Personally, I’ve never done a full face of strictly powder makeup. I usually mix the textures and finishes with a liquid/cream base for foundation and concealer, then mix a cream bronzer with a powder blush. I wanted to see how the finish would be so many powder beauty products on my face. Would my skin feel and look dry? Would my skin get oily a lot faster? So many questions. What are some of your favorite powder makeup products?

With summer around the corner I’d love if you could do a comparison video on tinted moisturizers. Couple different price ranges.
As I’m getting older I prefer a lighter foundation, especially when spending lots of time outside.
I also like a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation as I’m getting older. Foundation seems to settle into all of the lines!

That bare minerals concealer was my JAM in the early 00s. I’m pretty sure the bare minerals “starter kit” was one of my very first non-drugstore makeup purchases in, like, 2004. I can still remember the infomercial showing how to apply the product.

Powder game changer tip ladies. After makeup is complete run hottest water in your sink (close drain) cover your head over the sink letting the steam set and melt your makeup into the skin. 15-30 seconds should do the trick.

I LOVE THIS LOOK!!!! Ever since you tried powder “ make up forever “.... I loved it on you.... so now.. I use an expensive moisturizer, primer, ( let set in ) then powder “make up forever”.... then “ Kjaer Weis” cream blush ( I searched for a couple years for this perfect blush after MAC discontinued my color... ) and I swear it all looks like natural skin!!! AND IM OLD TOO- 73- and this is what is working for me now . I don’t put much of anything under my eyes... maybe a tiny bit of brightening powder, but there’s no getting around those wrinkles.... I’m anxious to try the powder concealer cause a do have 3 “ age” spots, but they are covered by a tiny dab of concealer but not happy with any texture so far. So thank you so much, once again, for trying these products for us !!!! ❤️
L’Oréal Fresh Wear powder foundation is great for mature skin ladies, I first found it on Nikkia Joy TH-cam channel and it’s lovely especially for a drugstore brand plus you’ll get a response from her if you happen to make a comment on her channel unlike here where you don’t even know if she even reads your comments and questions because I notice that none of them are ever answered. I’ve been using the Bare Minerals Well Rested since 2006, but use it more as a setting powder/brightener on top of a light weight concealer. I think you will enjoy it more that way. I agree that a setting spray would help with that powdery finish.

Bare minerals concealer is the only one that isn't too heavy for my undereye area. I have bags & everything the saleswomen put on me to try, literally make my bags worse. They always say "this one won't" but they always do.

I love the Sheshido powder and the BM Well Rested. I use the WR as a setting powder for my concealer and I use the Face powder over a liquid foundation and bc it's such a sheer to light coverage, it works perfect over foundation and it doesn't get cakey at all!

It looked beautiful... I had thought it would look cakey and feel chalky but no. I think if I did it I would not enjoy the feeling of it on my skin. I have sensory issues and really struggle with “dry” feeling things ~ like cotton wool, cotton pads, velvet, black boards, chalk, and.... powder lol. I struggle to use it. But I can see it makes for a flawless finish so I think I will try just a finishing powder to set my foundation maybe. I always enjoy your videos btw 💖

I love this one so much as I have enjoyed all of your videos. That eyeshadow on you looks awesome on you! We are similar complexions so I looked for a similar comparison in the pallet colors. I would love the UD, but that price had my heart crushed!! Lol I am hoping the A.R. Iconic 3 is, what I have seen supposed to be close. I would love to see you compare them. Looks awesome!! 😍 But I gotta know what kind of skin prep you do for powder foundations! Do you just use a light moisturizer or something a little thicker? I have a hard time with powder foundations being patchy.

Thanks for the great review. Did you try the Shiseido powder foundation using the black side of the sponge wet? Did you end up trying it with a setting spray? Maybe it will be less drying? I have always been a powder foundation fan and also have this one, among others. I use a brush to apply and finish with a setting spray. No problems with it feeling tight. Shiseido makes a pretty good concealer to go with: the SS S-R concealer.
I’ve used Bare Minerals Bisque from the BEGINNING of the brand. It’s phenomenal at covering redness and pimples!! I’d never use it under my eyes...hydrating products only in that area 😉

Bare Minerals products are bomb! I don’t know why more you tubers don’t use them more in their videos. You should have used their finishing powder to tie everything in together. It blurs everything perfectly. Or their Mineral Veil does the same but gives an added super subtle natural looking glow, so you don’t get a ‘dry’ or ‘powdery’ look

For mascara, there is a “vintage cake mascara” that is powder you should look into it
Do you have a video specifically for products a prep before applying products got people with very dry skin?
I use the bare minerals as a topper over my concealer after I set it.
I thought you were supposed to use the black side of the sponge and dampen it ? Looking for that one and done!

Looks like the foundation is completely worn off your nose. All your freckles are apparent. That’s a key area for me that I need to stay in place.

It’s a very common practice. It’s so you don’t get any shadow fallout on an already done face
