The new UI is super clean and wolf armor rework is super OP! Also loving the fifth update in a row that has broken maps. Hopefully these command/datapack changes have some longevity so mapmakers don't have to spend weeks reworking games just for it to break with the next update lol
I think that's the goal with this one thankfully! You'd have to read more into the patch notes, but I think the goal is to make it more flexible and helpful down the line! 💜
3:59 before, wind charges had a small bit of randomness with which direction they would travel, so if they were shot by a dispenser they had a high chance of missing the block it was directly aimed at if the block was far away, for example. I'm happy about this change.
I've heard this a lot, but this is not what was changed. It was that the effect radius (aka how far away from where it hit it can push/activate stuff from) was random and no longer is.
The fact that wolf armor gives 11 armor and now also give the wolf 64 durability/hitpoints (32 fully hearts) so a wolf now with the armor is pretty strong.
Actually, the 11 armor does literally nothing now. All damage you deal gets converted into durability damage at 1:1 ratio and until it breaks, it absorbs 100% damage dealt to the wolf. Correct me if I'm wrong

These enchants could work: Unbreaking, Fire Aspect, Looting, Knockback, Thorns, Sharpness/Smite/Bane of Arthropods (sure these may be Sword enchantments, but why can't we have these for dogs too? And if the term "Sharpness" doesn't make sense, they could add something different. They did the same thing with "Impaling" for the Trident after all...), Fire Protection, the Magic Protection stated above (which could also be useful for Player Armor), maybe Respiration? I don't think Mending would work that well since dogs can't really collect XP... Also, you can just mend it yourself with Armadillo Scutes anyway, so why bother?

I dont think "unecessary" features should be disregarded. Ill give a great example: in terraria you used to have to open doors manually (much more annoying than in minecraft) they later changed it so they would open for you. Little changes like this slowly add up and are what makes games feel better to play
Maximum unbreaking, mending, and thorns would make an excellent offensive war hound But if you want a tank wolf, then go for maximum unbreaking, any protection, and mending

I wish we got all of them. As a Crab voter, The Wolf armor was actually good. I really like what we got and couldn’t imagine Minecraft any other way but I still wish we also got the crab stuff with the update with the Armadillo stuff.
The next layer of progression after tools and armor: Accessories Increases player’s stats like hit points, block reach, jump height, inventory slots… . An Additional heart icons will appear for the player. Accessories are crafted with blocks of ore (blocks of diamond, iron…) and unique loot from epic dungeons. They have levels just like tools and armor according to the ore it’s made of, just like armor and tools. They are spread through the dimension they are useful for, for example to craft the one who extends block reach, one should go to caves(trail chambers), adding inventory slots -> the end, adding breath points/bubbles oceans and adding hit points/hearts -> warden dimension… .
@@fldom4610 of course, it has some rpg elements, some exploration, farming, redstone..., like I am not saying they should add 20 armor classes and 30 bosses, all I was saying is just to add one more element which will add a lot to the progression system, to exploration, combat and eventually to the whole game. like I am tired of seeing people getting the best armor immediately when starting a server, also there will be always something which players look for!

This well designed concept was designed specifically to fit in the game. Similar to dripstone and amethyst when first showen, the game just develops and updated and the word “fit” would change over time. If Minecraft is a sandbox game that doesn’t mean to not have challenges in the game, recently a full biome was added where it’s super hard to visit(deep dark), if you are a builder you can build in the way you want without even going to such places, while the concept I’ve introduced will help builders. Like why not to make the player’s abilities much better, wether it’s building with longer block reach or higher jumps, more breath/hit points or even faster mobs with the accessories Working also on mobs. It’s just makes the game much more enjoyable and you can ignore it if you don’t like it.
Wolves may become a new meta if the armor can be enchanted. Prot 5, unbreaking 3 armor would be ridiculous on something like 20 wolves! Suddenly splash potions have a use
@@daniiii888Due to some other changes, there's a bug and all weapons have the same damage in this version so I don't know what stads it had. But I tested it and my wolf survived two creepers right in the face. The armor did break with the second creeper but the wolf was still with full health.
I came here for wolf armour and learned about the bogged, how did it take me this long to learn Minecraft is adding a swap skeleton? I am genuinely confused how this flew under my radar. 🤔
And i know it would be overpowered but if you could enchant it with protection of all types(obviouslny not all at the same time) you could bring your wolf to the nether with fire resistance and it would be pretty much safe, im amazed beacuse this would finally make dogs useful for fighting and not a beautiful creature that takes a step out of the house and dies

HAHAHAHAHA, I WAS RIGHT THE WHOLE TIME. I told everyone before the vote that armor doesn't work the way anybody thinks it does and wouldn't do really anything to protect wolves from the sources of damage that are actually threatening to them. Mojang must have also realized this, because instead of just giving the armor way more armor points and some armor toughness, and/or even making it enchantable, they literally just made it so the armor makes the wolf immortal to all damage sources except magic damage. Like, look- I'm glad they implemented it in a way that was actually worth their time spent on it, but I'm still laughing my @$$ off that nobody believed me when I explained how useless it would be if it was anything like horse armor. I did the math using the ACTUAL damage reduction calculations and everything, but despite literally seeing the numbers in front of them, people didn't believe it, and I ended up being right. There's nothing more satisfying than being right the whole time AND still getting a better outcome after somebody else realizes it.
This is dog armor. This makes it worth it! And we can prob enchant it with unbreaking Either way if you have a scoot farm they are immortal! Which makes this AMAZING!!!
