Hi! I’m studying Publicity and digital marketing rn I’m on my first semester and i have to make a lot of video editing and logo drawing. Do you recommend buying the iPad Pro or iPad Air? I’ve only been using my laptop and phone but it’s reallyyy tiring! I hope you can answer me i really need help:( Loved your video btw! Super informative and motivational!
I use my iPads for creative work, paperless notes, email follow ups , but also entertainment such as Netflix. I totally agree with you, the way the multitasking is set up on iPad helps you to focus on one task at a time but gives you the advantage to move around with limits. Having the keyboard and the pencil is must.
I am using an iPad for notes and it really helps me focus on my tasks. With that said I still use a desktop or MacBook when I need to have a lot of research windows open
For anyone thinking an iPad is a complete replacement for a laptop or PC, remember it is still on a mobile operating system which means some programs won't work on your tablet and some features of websites aren't supported for tablets etc. Also a tablet will not magically make your handwriting beautiful :(
This. I do think people get it because they like the aesthetic notes but if you have bad handwriting, it’s going to look like that on the tablet too lol
Haha good one. I use my tablet as a second monitor, and I also use it for entertainment when it comes to play time. No sacrifice. I do programming, and ipad or android tablets don't support that fully. But they do appear on my tablet in monitor mode.
@@Streamlined955 wdym lol if he/she is doing computer programming than they cant use any type of programming software because their isnt any support for those on ios devices so he/she has a good point
My 2021 iPad Pro is my baby. I use it for everything, watching Netflix, HBO Max, Disney Plus, to taking notes and videos for school, and writing my short stories (I’m a wannabe author.) I have an 2nd Gen Apple Pencil but no Magic Keyboard because that’s expensive as hell. There are great, cheap, Bluetooth keyboards. The iPad Pro is versatile and I don’t need a laptop. It does everything. Thanks for the video!
I ditched my laptop years ago for the iPad. Currently use an 11” iPad Pro. Works great for me. At home & while traveling. I use it for everything from web surfing & email writing to video & photo editing as well as note taking & drawing with the apple pencil. It does everything i need.
hi!! can i ask what storage ur ipad is? is it 128 gb, 256 gb, 512 gb, or more? this is what i want to use my ipad pro for & i'm terrified of running out of space. i'm a senior in high school & i at least want my ipad to last until my junior year of college. thanks!
I love how you mentioned the separation of use for each device. This is the same focus I got my iPad for. It's strictly business. I was doing business and personal from my phone, but was often distracted by personal.
I definitely agree with the iPad work flow idea. It’s just easier and more seamless for me to work on my iPad over a traditional laptop. And these new iPads can do so much! I, too, use different devices for different things. My iPad Pro is for work, business and school related things, and my iPad mini is for fun stuff. A perfect balance. Thank you for your video!
For the last four months I’ve made my iPad Pro my only computer. I was amazed at how easy that transition was. The primary app that I lost was my home edition MATLAB and Simulink. But I learned to work around that. I probably won’t live long enough to fully exploit all the iPad’s capability. Beyond TH-cam, my primary iPad usage includes developing engineering illustrations and diagrams as well as taking notes and marking up technical articles. I’ve dumped MS Office in favor of using Apple’s creativity suite: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. No issues so far.
Looking at your profile picture, you’re not old enough to be saying “probably won’t live long enough”. I hope you live out the rest of your life healthy and happy sir. Also Don’t say negative things like that, think positive. Life is short, but it’s crazy how many things you can do in 5, 10 or even 15 years. Wish you a happy and long, healthy life, with nothing but success and prosperity, sir.
I have been doing that for long.... it's works too well dude..I use my tablet on for productive work and studies...and entertainment only on my tv...it works too well😌
Yes its good the ipad couldnt replace a windows PC for me which I use for 3d work, heavy text editing and writing etc, while ipad is for art and entertainment etc.
30 years using IT and I’m with you 100% on iPad first, creating music, graphics, videos, websites and now software development for Alexa skills and websites. Just pick up and put down when you want. 👍
I’m a high school and college student (dual enrollment) and my iPad (iPad Air 4) has made my life so much easier. First with saving paper and also being able to conveniently have all my work in one location.
Omg really I have a MacBook Pro looking forward to trade it in for a iPad Because I’ve gone about 4 times for them to fix my MacBook and they keep saying it’s fine when for me I can’t even use it. Trying to convince my parents to let me trade it in for a apple gift card and get a iPad I’ve heard it’s much easier ?
I often think how much better I would have done in school if iPads were around then. Most of my challenges surrounded medical issues and therefore issues with heavy backpacks, needing to bring most of my textbooks home for homework every night, etc. Also, my natural organizational style is much more conducive to annotating than to writing textbook references in my notes.
As a biochemist, The iPad had changed my life from Bachelor until now Ph.D. it is easy for write down a lab results, do lab journal, write down a patht way or chemical structure drowning as you mentioned. For me it is the whole experience such as watch a youtube during waiting for pcr results. Listen to music during cell culture or reading paper. The work that I still using my MacBook is for SPSS and citations program for paper writing.
I strategically purchased my iPad with keyboard and pencil for the sole purpose of using for work, planning and creating. I needed the portability but more importantly, I needed something that would support me while I learn new create tools and techniques without overwhelming myself with desktop software that I probably won’t use until I get into more advanced levels.
This made me feel a lot better because I’ve seen people say it’s nearly a necessity to have a laptop to go along with an IPad but I don’t have that kinda money and I’m really scraping everything together to get one device. As the iPad would be my only device I’m looking to see how to get it to work for a degree. I’m a botanist and I’m really hoping that if I can get by with just the IPad.
@@kennethkoh6072 I didn't buy the apple ipad keyboard no :) it was too expensive for me. I went for just a folio case and use the on screen keyboard which works out well :)
I use iPad Pro for 99% of my work as entrepreneur running my own business, but I also use to play music and edit my drone videos, and for entertainment such as TH-cam and Netflix. It is my most valued piece of tech with it being integral to most aspects of my life.
I feel like my iPad is my main as well. First my laptop needs to be fixed lol it is loud and annoying . 2nd digital notes allows me better to focus , I don’t know what it is but writing down my notes digitally just works well for me. If I could do my chem homework on my iPad I would
I’ve actually used my iPad Air r to teach and I was blown away at how much more productive I was. My students were also able to see that and they preferred the iPad over the chrome books that my my school gives us. This video really helped me put things into perspective when using the iPad as a computer first ! I’ve used it to tutor also while using the Apple Pencil and it was very seamless and productive!
As a General Science Teacher with a very hyperactive son with Autism, Apple captivated me by giving me the the capacity to flow from a Mac at work, downgrade to an iPad during meeting, and seamless continue that same amount of work energy at home with my son and his adventures. As a mother and professional, any tool that does not interfere with your most important role as a mother and allows you to still be that proactive,, creative, and productive alpha female. My mini really blow everyone’s mind, because the competition shows up with bags and binders and/or laptop and even Macs. My mini with the sync information from my Mac and Air is alway tucked in a small purse until it is needed. I love it. iPads are taking over.
So you prefer your mini over the 12.9 iPad and the iPad Pro? I’m trying to decide. It’s really difficult. Do I choose the larger iPad for note taking purpose or the smaller mini for convenience… or tote-ability???
This is exactly how I will use the iPad: no games, no TV shows, no Netflix app or whatever. Only business apps (Citrix plugin, Lumafusion, Office 365, iSSH 2 and so on) Great reportage, thanks
I went for a whole year without turning on my laptop. I use my iPhone for almost all my digital needs. Now I just go on laptop to keep it updated. The biggest annoyance with laptop is the updates keep it from functioning. Even after like a month of no use sometimes when I turn it on I have to wait for it to update before I can start using it.
At the beginning of the semester. I bought a notebook for school. Ever since I bought my iPad. All of my notes are in the iPad. I noticed that my grades made a jump ever since I transition from handwriting notes to digital notes.
Some of the reviews for this don't make sense. This th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA works as well as any power strip I've used. Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.
I'd recommend investing into a NAS its basically your own cloud computer that you can access from any device anywhere you want. It will safe you from paying $10 every month for the next x amount of years. It adds up
I’ve switched to primarily iPad 12.9 Pro. With the amazing magic keyboard. You are correct the work flow is seamless for me as well. I can also remove the the iPad from keyboard and go out into the plant for audits, pictures of project areas, etc….I use the MacBook Pro much less now. I also use cloud services to share with my coworkers and store documents on the go. It’s so much better!
I been using my iPad pro for everything I need for the past year or so. Take notes, write essays, print documents, schedule, entertainment, editing. It may not works for everyone, but it’s perfect for some of us, it’s easier and compact. And the apple pen makes it even more practical
I've watched this video twice over the last few months. I had already tried to make my devices narrow/single purposed. I have similar devices like you: Switch, iPad, iPhone, laptop, etc. Originally, my iPad was a first step in computing and possibly replacing my laptop to certain degree: whether it was work, school or play; however, my iPhone is all of that when I'm not with my iPad or laptop. My laptop was for when I needed a processing speeds or anything else that might enter my mind at the time. After watching you video the first time, I tried it your way. I had removed all the apps that were games and entertainment from my iPad. --Wow that made a huge difference: 1) I'm not (as much*) distracted when it's time to work or study. (Turning off notifications helps.) 2) I had minimize my screen time while maximizing my productivity time, a) and, in the process, better allocate my time to relax or play. I'm in the process of working out a system of usage with my iPhone, so that I can stay even more focused. While my PC is only used when I need to do data analysis and coding. I would like to see/know: - What do you use to film, edit and process your TH-cam videos? - Thank you and I/we want more iPad content. :) - If you're still into Chemistry, will you shift your business model or add to it with science videos? (Just curious).
I have an iPad Air. I used to have a MacBook Air too, but I got rid of it because I realized I didn’t need it. Everything I needed the MacBook for my iPad can do and I’m on a mission to declutter my life.
Great vid. I’m exactly the same. iPad first, MacBook second. I only use my MacBook for video calls because the iPad FaceTime camera is on the side when it’s on the magic keyboard, which is kind of annoying that they haven’t changed that yet, but whatever. And also, I do a lot of work on google docs and unfortunately, Apple doesn’t support having multiple windows for google docs open the same way you can for pages, notes, safari, etc. So working on multiple docs at the same time can be annoying. But other than those, I 100% use my iPad at my primary laptop and I love it
😌 I’m selling my 16 inch MacBook Pro and going all in with my iPad. For me, I think it’s a much more pleasant productivity experience overall. Great video!
Your handwriting on your iPad is so neat. When I first got mine a few months ago I was struggling to write neatly. Especially on GoodNotes. But I guess practice makes perfect. Still love my iPad tho. It has been a great addition to my everyday life in many aspects. I definitely prefer tablets with a pen over laptops. Way more flexible devices.
Yes, I agree with your tablet first workflow. Having owned a iPad Air 2 from when it first came out in 2014, twenty years everything Apple as in computers, laptops, watch, routers, and the like) plus eleven years iPhone only, I purchased a Samsung Note 20; amazing device. The Note 20 experience convinced me moving from iPad to Samsung Tablet. My reason, the Samsung tablet OS, and Note 20 as well, contain DeX (Desktop Experience), considerably better than the iPad OS and iPhone OS. For many years having used and loving Apple Notes, my experience with Samsung notes demonstrates it is for me better and more feature rich than Apple Notes. Device personal choice aside, I completely agree with your tablet first workflow is excellent. All your points about tablet first are spot-on.
I also used an iPad, a 12.9 inch iPad Pro for most of my computing needs. However I recently replaced the iPad Pro with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and it really improved my productivity. It has a much better amoled screen, a much larger screen, a better keyboard case and a way friendlier file system than Apple's, plus much more refined multi tasking. However I'm a Windows/Android person so it may just be what I am more comfortable with. Either way you can't beat the weight and battery life and note taking abilities of a tablet and stylus versus most laptops. Nice content!
I’ve purchased an iPad 7th gen on Dec 2019 with the Apple Pencil and all I can say is: BEST INVESTMENT. I do all my note takings and study secc in my iPad. When we started online classes because of the pandemic I purchased notebooks to not get distracted on my iPad and what did I end up using: my iPad. The only thing I regret is getting just 32gb. I thought that was enough but considering that I use it a LOT, specially for note taking I’m considering upgrading it to maybe an iPad Air 4 but not yet, my iPad still works really good and the storage gives me a lil more time. But seriously, the BEST.
I got the iPad Pro as I'm looking to start drawing and writing digital webcomics. For me with the Apple Pencil there's just something fun about the device that helps me alleviate the 'where do I get started' feeling when you're staring at a blank page on a new project. It just feels so natural getting that immediate feedback when the pencil touches the screen that's unlike anything that I've tried with Wacom tablets and other drawing methods. It's nice having everything all together in one sleek and portable device. Apple really knocked it out of the park.
waiting for my ipad now you make me more excited! I use wacome before and it didn't give a "draw" feeling at all (more like skate my pen over some ice + invisible gap). I hope ipad is my right choice too!
I use my iPad in 4 different modes: all of which have their own focus mode Home Screen/app setup so I only see the topics at hand: 1- morning routine - this is a daily good morning overview and planning of what I’m going to do for the day. Has my lists, calendars, reminders, etc 2- Photography - this is my big workflow one, designed to speed up editing, rating, and also video creative work. It’s way easier to rate and flag photos from a shoot on the iPad then have a condensed set of photos I want to edit on my computer later 3- training - this is all the fitness and learning stuff. Workouts, workout tracking, and school related things. 4- home - this is a generalized page that just allows me to unwind with things like reading a book or playing a game.
Now that I'm back in school, I use my ipad air m2 for all my theologhical school work. It's been fantastic for me. It's not for everyone, and not everyone will want to be ipad only for certain things. But the ipad really has come a long way and is perfect for me.
i have ipad pro 2020 and i love it for mostly everything. except for the absence of a trackpad/keyboard when i want to type. but otherwise , the form factor, the ease, the size & convenience is better than any laptop out there.
I originally got my iPad last year for my illustrations for work. But I fell in love with everything else about it, and even opened up the Apple garden gates for me (was an Android/Windows user). I love this thing so much.
As someone who has only owned a ipod 30gb video years ago and no other apple product, seeing this video made me feel less intimidated and even welcome. Thank you so much. I am a writer who is also trying to learn language(s) so this gives me hope in that as well. You're a kind soul and I truly appreciate you! Thank you so much for this! Big hugs!
It’s nice that your major/lifestyle allow you to use an iPad the majority of the time. I would love too as well but me being a computer scientist I need certain applications that iPads don’t support sadly. Hopefully in the future I’ll be able to adopt your ways 😢
My iPad serves as my computer for work/biz, but because I have this final year left of undergrad, I have to use my laptop for certain programs and applications like MATLAB, Mestrenova, citation managers, ChemDraw, etc. that can't be run on the iPad. After this year, I won't need those programs.
when i bought mine earlier this year, what i had in mind is i would use it mainly for my freelancing in comics while travelling. Its my first ipad, so i still put games i cant play on my PC 😅
I am so amazed by you! I am OLD and I use an iPad for the things that I struggle with on the computer and then air drop them to my computer. I do a lot of app smashing (which is what we call it in education) but I know that there is so much more I can do. I love learning from you! I have to tell you that I was surprised you are a chem major since your are so gifted in the digital/graphics areas. You are a multi-talented young woman. :).
I got a similar set up for working/studying, but with Samsung gadgets. With Samsung Dex, I can pretty much turn my cellphone in an desktop! There's only two issues: 1) Samsung/Google's ecosystems are privacy nightmares, so I had to spend nearly 2 months "degoogling" it to be barely acceptale; 2) my professional signature-token won't work on Android or IOS, so i couldn't get rid of the pc completely 😅
Great video. I agree. I’ve loved using my iPads over the years much more than my MacBook Pro and Mac Air. I gave my laptops to my son and desktop to my daughter and went to purchase a computer and I ended up with the iPad M1.
I am doing everything TH-cam on my iPad. being a small full time TH-camr, it takes a lot, and a cheap iPad Air 4th gen was love at first sight. it is more powerful than my MacBook. editing with luma fusion is seamless and smooth.
I think the large corps are seeing it this way too. We have the 14.6" Samsung tab S8 Ultra coming out in a couple months, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see an even larger than 12.9" iPad soon as well. Seems like the line between computer and tablet is getting thinner and thinner.
I use my Ipad for every aspect of my life, I definitely can’t go without it. From my business to college and more, I definitely don’t go a day without a LOT of use from my Ipad, I love it!
Glad to know that many popular youtubers have now come to embrace the reality that the iPad can be the main computer for most users. I have been using the iPad 7 as my main computer since 2020, and recently upgraded to a 64GB M1 iPad Air. All i can say is its amazing! I hope you can make an updated video featuring stage manager and tell us your thoughts about it and how it affects your workflow as an iPad power user. Thanks! 😀
I had the same! When I got my Ipad I was (and still am) extremely productive, because I love doing my schoolwork on it! It feels clean and I don’t have a messy binder full of hand-outs, notes and recaps etc. Everything is sorted out and I don’t need to take 10 kg’s of books to school anymore, because I have the books on my Ipad (: For anyone wondering: I have the Ipad Air 4, Apple pencil and Logitech Folio Touch👌🏼
I love my iPad, really, but due to having to work a lot with code I just need my laptop. Even if the iPad isn't designed for programming, I still use it a lot for note taking and design work.
Mine is an iPad Air 2 w 32 GB. I bought it when it was first out and not one second of down time, ever. It’s all I use. No need for anything else. Looking at the M1 PRO 11”…close to pulling the trigger on that one. The list of benefits for that upgrade is very long.
I have wondered about this idea. I use my MBA first but my iPad has a strong second place in my workflow. As a teacher teaching online. I use my computer to plan lessons and run the google meets then use my iPad and Apple Pencil as a whiteboard and interactive screen. I look forward to seeing how your flow.
I’ve had an iPad Pro 11” for a little over a year now. I love it! With the exception of my phone, it is my only computing device. I’m an artist, student, and do everything I need from my iPad with no issues. I love the mobility of it too. Definitely worth the $!
I tried making my workflow ipad first or ipad dominated but I still find that I am more productive when using my mac. I find that I use my ipad for both creativity and entertainment. While my mac is for work and deep research :) Great video though!
You can do the same with a keyboard. You don’t need a computer. The key is organisation, do your folders before working and copy/paste it. Currently I discovered the Markdown and it's just great.
I think some of it depends on your style and talents. I’m a successful digital artist, but I can’t hand draw squat, so until Illustrator came out for iPad not long ago, I needed that mouse and a full digital toolbox.
This all sounds so familiar (minus the chemistry... I'm not smart in that way). I keep seeing videos on how people tried to switch to the pro instead of using a laptop but that they went crawling back. I'm trying to make that decision now but here's what it comes down to... I only use my laptop for typing at this point. I use my phone or ipad mini for literally everything else... my planner, notes, art, music, website bookmarks, recipes..it's all more easily accessible through my tablet or phone. There are only two things I prefer/need my laptop for but everything else is heading towards a tablet. Thanks for posting this video and validating my decision... lol
Being an IT entrepreneur, my workflow is mostly dependent on my iPhone and Mac. Haven’t really used an iPad but I do have a tablet and rarely use it. I want to get an iPad but don’t know yet how it can fit in my workflow. Maybe I’ll just get one and find out.
There's always a transition period when it comes to implementing new tech in our workflows. It sounds like the iPad would complement your workflow well :) but if not, returning Apple products is pretty easy!
You will find a lot of problems, basically because of the poor memory management of iPad yet, as an IT you'll need to run "mini apps" or terminal apps or apps for data transfer or text editors that eventually will be closed when iPadOS thinks it's time to give RAM to another process.
@@AlejandroGuidotti yes. MacBook will still be my primary computer. I am planning to use iPad for meetings, UIUX designs, write-ups, and entertainment.
At 4:29 she mentions how she likes to keep only the apps she uses professionally or for work everyday. With the new iPadOS 15 update, you can soon easily hide entire pages of apps and then show them again by editing the pages on your iPad. Could be a good way to temporarily hide apps for 'fun' like Netflix while trying to do work and then re-enable them when your work is over :)
I’ve never owned an iPad but am seriously considering one for work. The paperwork transfer and trail from my employer is epic. I need a better way to manipulate the mess that I’m thrown daily.
Hello Kirstin, glad to hear that iPad is your computer. I wish my iPad could replace my computer too. However, at the year 2021, no browser on my iPad could yet replace the chrome brower on my mac mini 2014. That's why my iPad has become my best gaming and entertainment machine.
Glad you shared this and highlighted using solely your ipad. I have switched my whole life around using the apps on my ipad and let go of some apps I used to reference and use daily on the laptop - reducing context switching has helped so much.
I recently started a new job, I am attempting to utilize all the 365 apps offered. I have an older iPad that I rarely use but this video has been most helpful. I have always loved the physicality of writing but in the theory of work smarter not harder, I’m trying new things. Thank you!
Ty hun for your review. Sometimes men are so technically complex, but you are telling and showing me how a person will use it daily vs all the tech jargon. Everyday use is more important and how it flows!! Ty
Just found out about the iPad pillow. Where the hell has that been all my life? Shoot, I'm on the MacBook, Mac mini, iPad Pro, iPad mini, 12 pro max, iPhone se, the watch, Apple TV and the speakers. But if I could only keep one, it might be the iPad Pro (as long as I get the iPad pillow first).
I'm quite the Apple collector as well 😂 I've definitely seen the iPad. Once the new 2021 iPad arrives, I'm deciding between that or the Sketchboard Pro! Love the unique products that are designed for the iPad.
my ipad helped me so much through medical school, i was tired of lugging my macbook and was upset i could bring my imac eveywhere lol, i got the ipad and was instantly in love with being able to write on powerpoints, take it with me from class to class to clinicals to labs and it not take up so much space. i got a preloved smart folio keyboard was good, but then got a preloved magic keyboard, never went back. having the touchpad and be able to detach my ipad whenever is pure bliss. i do have netflix, youtube, crunchyroll and bunch of enterianment apps on my ipad and was able to differenciate between play and studies on one device.
50s so my first computer was an Atari 800 and an Apple IIe. We had to get down and dirty, making our own programs with these machines very often. Nowadays, I rarely use a computer at home for anything other than web browsing, email, photos, music. My last Mac mini from 2012. Sits in my closet unplugged. 95% of my home computing is done on my iPad. I believe, for the average home user, not student, or at-home worker, the iPad or android tablet is all you really need any more.
IPad first here too. Creating notes, drawing, annotating PDFs and even coding are all brilliant on the iPad. I can then RDP into my actual PC if I need something specific on there like running code or editing Notion (come on Notion, improve the iPad app!)
I’m a designer slowly adopting to a more mobile setup. My question is seeing your artistic background what do you use for viewing files or preview files. Ai eps sag I have a hard time trying to open up old files from my desktop days. Any app suggestions?
I would have loved a digital tablet when I was getting my chemistry degree. I still find it slower to write on a screen vs typing or writing on paper. But it’s just so much more enjoyable.
The production quality of this video is amazing. Found this video because I was looking to upgrade my old 9.7” iPad to a bigger one or an iPad Pro. Thanks for the tips! 😊
I love your perspective; however, MacBook Air with the M1 is the best choice for me. I take an educational course online and running my online business. iPad doesn't cut it.

Really wondering what else is ipad good for aside from drawing and planning? I mean…can it present on a hdmi projector?

How much they cost?
How have you worked around not using matlab? As an eng student there’s no other alternative
What is as your alternative to MatLab?
I never thought about assigning roles to my devices (e.g., one for entertainment, one for work, etc.) I like it and I think I’ll have to try it
Just continue using f****** kali dude... doesn’t get better than that.
that's right 👍
I’m a high school and college student (dual enrollment) and my iPad (iPad Air 4) has made my life so much easier.
Botanist??!! Me too!!

I’ve actually used my iPad Air r to teach and I was blown away at how much more productive I was. My students were also able to see that and they preferred the iPad over the chrome books that my my school gives us. I’m a chemistry teacher and recently also became iPad first (new air) - it really does change everything

I like using the iPad with an Apple Pencil for school work because it doesn’t use lots of paper and it’s easier to keep track of everything.
--Wow that made a huge difference:
1) I'm not (as much*) distracted when it's time to work or study. (Turning off notifications helps.)
2) I had minimize my screen time while maximizing my productivity time,
a) and, in the process, better allocate my time to relax or play.
I'm in the process of working out a system of usage with my iPhone, so that I can stay even more focused. While my PC is only used when I need to do data analysis and coding.
I would like to see/know:
- What do you use to film, edit and process your TH-cam videos?
- Thank you and I/we want more iPad content. :)
- If you're still into Chemistry, will you shift your business model or add to it with science videos?
But other than those, I 100% use my iPad at my primary laptop and I love it
Spoken like a true entrepreneur!! Bought an Ipad Air last week, aint seen my laptop since!!! They are such fun to use!!!

U're using Samsung tabet until now ?
A video on using and taking care of the magic keyboard, especially if you commute/travel with it.
Can you make another video to show how iPad totally replace Macbook in doing office & documents tasks ?
I really want that iPad Pro, I’m graduating soon and it’s a must for my thesis, and all the searching I’ll be doing
Did you get it? I still think you can so better research on a real computer. The iPad is still pretty great
Among reviews discouraging me to buy an Ipad, this channel is really motivating. This is what I want to listen. You have my subscription. Tks
I use my iPad in 4 different modes: all of which have their own focus mode Home Screen/app setup so I only see the topics at hand:
1- morning routine - this is a daily good morning overview and planning of what I’m going to do for the day. Has my lists, calendars, reminders, etc
2- Photography - this is my big workflow one, designed to speed up editing, rating, and also video creative work. It’s way easier to rate and flag photos from a shoot on the iPad then have a condensed set of photos I want to edit on my computer later
3- training - this is all the fitness and learning stuff. Workouts, workout tracking, and school related things.
4- home - this is a generalized page that just allows me to unwind with things like reading a book or playing a game.
You're really ahead of time
Now that I'm back in school, I use my ipad air m2 for all my theologhical school work. It's been fantastic for me. It's not for everyone, and not everyone will want to be ipad only for certain things. But the ipad really has come a long way and is perfect for me.
I have a MacBook Air, but I always just go back to my iPads for daily tasks. Great video.
i have ipad pro 2020 and i love it for mostly everything. except for the absence of a trackpad/keyboard when i want to type. but otherwise , the form factor, the ease, the size & convenience is better than any laptop out there.

Creating these boundaries makes sense. I have no games on my ipad and Macbook.not even on my phone. For games i have the PS5 and the Switch
Thank you for pleasure of listening accurate and warm speech. Everything is clear for me as non- native english speaker.

I’m a successful digital artist, but I can’t hand draw squat, so until Illustrator came out for iPad not long ago, I needed that mouse and a full digital toolbox.
iPads are so great for university. I only used an old iPad for all high school and college for notes/worksheets/etc. The app Notability is the best!

Thanks for posting this video and validating my decision... lol

Not really. Its actually the most affordable.
I'm 77 years old, and my iPad Pro (2018) has become my "MAIN" computer too. It's so PORTABLE, and with the CELLULAR, it works almost everywhere!

50s so my first computer was an Atari 800 and an Apple IIe. We had to get down and dirty, making our own programs with these machines very often. Nowadays, I rarely use a computer at home for anything other than web browsing, email, photos, music. My last Mac mini from 2012.
