True. Though really high level requires dedication and lots of repetition by yourself. Like saying music is not solitary because people come to watch the show. But practicing 8 hours a day like say Guthrie Govan is.
Multipitch climbing you are either sitting at a belay or climbing by yourself 90% of the time, he is not wrong. Can’t even hear your partner half the time.
I thought Alex was just generally unimpressed with everything in life by the way he speaks about his/teams he’s in’s accomplishments, so it was illuminating to see him get so excited for his friend here.

It’s aa waste of time and insult to explain to those who ask and never comprehend, unless they paying for your time. They will never understand.
