Yes, a young side with a very high ceiling; Ange's style is to bring out the best in his available players. Looking inside first. Yes, bring in players to build the squad and add depth, but the players are already there. If Ange can close the gap between the best and worst performances, Spurs happy days.
Pape Sarr is a real machine. Impossible to stop him

When you realise almost half the fan base don't know what they're talking about when they want Ange gone and he goes and beats Man City when they haven't lost at home in over 2 years!
@CALPOLCW123 Liverpool lost to Forrest, Arsenal lost to Bournemouth. Ipswich got a draw with Villa and Brighton. There's no bad teams in this league and if you don't play near your best, you'll get beat. We are searching for that consistency but our best is unbelievable. Definitely worth persisting with Ange
Our defense looked fundamentally different, much accountable even during City’s counter attacks. Ben Davis may not flashy as Romero or Micky, but he rarely disappoints. He had a good game, and his good game helped Dragosin to have a good game. We have critical 9 game stretch, all coming 2 per week. Good to see Ben and Ragu play well.
With radu he needed games in his legs, now he has minutes in his legs, some spurs fans think every player should be ripping it up in there 1st game, dont work like that, even in sùndaý morning football inpark you need a rub of games, there was a reason B .muinich wabted him
@danielskey9040 if you remember sonny was nearly sold after his 1st season, as he wasnt playing welk, but they percfered with sonny and nearly 10 yrs later, sone players take a while two adapt two the speed and toughness of prem.
What I liked about radu was, he might not be as good on the ball as romero, but he knew exactly when to clear his lines rather than maybe get caught on the ball
Romero needs to go, as soon as Real Madrid expressed interest this summer you can tell he just checked out, he’s not even trying this year. All the games we dropped were due to lack of leadership and when Sonny was hurt Romero was supposed to be captain, but he was nowhere to be found. He’s personally responsible for a few key goals this year too. And now leaking he had a falling out with Ange…. 😤
I especially agree with the fact that he dwells on the ball too long, although he can put through some beautifully penetrating passes from deep. I think he also creates a certain amount of fear among opposition attackers.
Despite his rather poor form over the other two games he started, I've realized I've overrated Romero as being on par with vdv, but he just doesn't have the same abilities. His quality for Argentina has been far superior to that of Tottenhams. Still a great CB but he makes errors just as much as dragusin has. Thrilling game and super excited to see how we play throughout the season and especially in cup games.
I'll award 10/10 for all the players, and the manager. I'll be dining out on this result for weeks. My man of the match? Every single player, best all round Spurs performance for years. Thanks Guys
These shows where you rate are really your best they contain detail , solid opinions good and bad so these I watch some of your other shows with guest are boring and maybe a touch dramatic and please the Dude from Toronto needs to stay in Toronto .
@stevem774 nah Davies was good too not magnificent. Son was involved in 2 goals, had a great shot saved and created 1 clear chance for Solanki to score. He was really good. Not saying he deserves a 10 but 8 when Davies gets a 10 is absurd. Only Maddison and Deki deserved a 10. Maybe Viccario a 10 too but that's about it.
Draguszin was still pretty bad. Can the guy pass a ball to his teammates without it bouncing to them or being over hit!? It is frightening that a professional footballer has no ability to pass the ball smoothly and with the right weight in a consistent manner. I stand by my claim he won't be at the club long term - maybe my call that Ange would be rid of him by the end of the season won't come to pass, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Deki gave City a real Dèján vu
Feel like city’s gonna try and buy him

Same team lost to Ipswich btw - consistency is the key

Give Ange time !

He is better suited against a certain type of opposition like city. Got found out when players are running at him on a quick break
@danielskey9040 if you remember sonny was nearly sold after his 1st season, as he wasnt playing welk, but they percfered with sonny and nearly 10 yrs later, sone players take a while two adapt two the speed and toughness of prem.
10 out of 10s all round... Best I've seen them play as a team for years!!! Played for one another thats the big thing!!
I thnik Dragus had a bit of bad luck and bad form good to know he knows how hes doing i always had faith in him
Three-Lungs SARR
Yeh. Park at Man U in Ferguson era ran around like that and made difference.
What I liked about radu was, he might not be as good on the ball as romero, but he knew exactly when to clear his lines rather than maybe get caught on the ball

I would put Davis ahead of Romero, very rarely let's you down. Romero has been at fault for a number of goals and he dwell on the ball to long.
I especially agree with the fact that he dwells on the ball too long, although he can put through some beautifully penetrating passes from deep. I think he also creates a certain amount of fear among opposition attackers.
Agree, sell him now and reinvest in the back
If Dragu plays like he did yesterday i'd be playing him and VDV when he's fit again
davies over romero 💀, yes he’s struggling at the moment but no centre back in our team can play out from the back like him

Sarr's passing ability this year has been brilliant.

How you can only give sarr an 8. Unbelievable performance yesterday
It’s not vicario’s best game in spurs shirt but he was good a few times he was called upon
God bless Ben Davies...and all those amazing players.coys

SO NO ANGE OUT OR UNTIL SPURS LOSE TO FULHAM NEXT WEEK AT HOME?
Sarr & Solanke’s stamina : 99ovr
I take no joy from this result after ipswich
Prime Minister Sarr owned the midfield

The whole team played well but thought Bissouma was the weakest player.

GIving Ben 10 and Son 8? gtfo lol Son played amazing
Davies has been immense this season. Son was good but Davies was magnificent

Poor take. Yes and his shit passes are the reason we beat city 4 nil. Hating for no reason.
He had a good game. Yes, he's been bad, but credit where it's due. Well done Radu
You guys are getting so carried away. We were terrible. Spurs were brilliant. But relax. We have lost 5 in a row for a reason.
