It is true that girls on tinder know for a fact that they have higher chances to match someone so they’re obviously going to have higher criteria than when meeting irl. But it’s because most of the people on these apps aren’t looking for anything serious.
Trust me, girls' requirements are different depending on whether they are looking for a hookup or a long-lasting relationship (i’m not speaking on the behalf of the shallow ones though).

We could think it's easier to find someone using these because the offer (i hate that word) is massive but it's usually based on looks while in real life it will still play a role for sure but the personnality can definitely make a difference to a girl.

I think politics has always played a part in relationships. Back in the old days, some people wouldn't tolerate nixon supporters. Herbert Hoover was widely hated and blamed intensely for starting the great depression, so God forbid you dated a Hoover supporter. I think it's just more noticeable now because of social media, but many people have always been cautious about dating certain political parties. I personally don't think I'd care too much, so long as the person isn't aggressive about it and doesn't try to force it onto me, ya know?

My opinion is the exact opposite - you should knock out waaay more than 95% of the population. A lot are men, too old/young, married... But I know what you really mean and I still disagree. I think there's enough people for you to find an excellent match. It's just really important to be honest with yourself about what you want and set the standards correctly. And also be realistic.
