I didn’t grow up with GI Joe but I do own one now that, for me, was a must. I have a Navajo Codetalker GI Joe that I purchased 20 years ago from a Toys R Us. A few years later I was able to get the box signed by Codetalker Chester Nez. The figure says several phrases in Navajo and then translates.
Great video Paul. GI Joe was my favorite toy as a child. Actually had quite a few including land rover, bike and sidecar, helicopter and such. Those were the days when imagination could take you anywhere. Thanks for this. All the best mate
Very nice figure and gear. Two years ago a friend of mine send me a large Box of different GI Joe Figures and sets, including a submarine, and a dogslet... But after decades the figures grap very ugly an smeary the internal rubberbands where only dust... Some figures had to go straight into the trash bin, some others i gave to a college.
Wow Paul, that was so cool. Although I don't have one from my childhood I was able to purchase one when they repoped them 20 or so years ago. Mine was a Revolutionary War soldier but it didn't take long to some Viet Nam camo and an M-16. Thanks for the memories.
It took me weeks to save up the cash for that one and the NASA silver astronaut costume (my favourite)! I wanted to recreate Tintin and Captain Haddock diving for Red Rackham's treasure! He went by 'Action Man' in the UK. And I seem to remember building a sledge (with lolly sticks) for a polar explorer version, though not sure what I used for dogs?

Send me some info and pics so I can share that on the live stream. I've never seen that one before!
Paul Youdelis I’ll see what I can do.
@@pauly7218 I emailed you.
That GI Joe guy is awesome, there's nothing like vintage action figures. My son has his from when he was a kid but mine are long gone.

Oh yeah? Well... I have the official, limited edition Paul Yodel-Dodel action figure (He puts out fires and builds super diecast customs) 😁
