very good nba player. elite skills. imho he needs to work on 3 areas to have a bigger and better effect on the game. 2 of them hav to do with choices - shot selection and pass selection so to speak. the result would be more efficient scoring and a better assist to turnover ratio. wouldnt try to change his game cuz he's effective as is. but id hav him watch chris paul, nash and stockton tape. and kyrie. not for the shi only kyrie can do but for how kyrie plays controlled. despite that skill and spectacular ability kyrie is a selective shooter and a disciplined passer. he came into the league like this and yet still improved. the 3rd thing is his off ball defense. on ball defense for an elite offensive player is not necessary. not everybody can be mj, kobe or kawhi (healthy) in this regard. but everybody on the floor gota be good at running the defensive scheme, help positioning, reading where the greatest threat is and reducing the opposition's spacing. he's an excellent player. these 3 tweaks are jus next level shi. if im him im hoping i get to texas - with wemby and pop.
Nice insights totally agree and yes as much as I love him in the ATL he may very well be wasting a crucial part of his career there due to the fact the organization is letting him down by not building a proper team around him to maximize his potential and that's why a combo of him and Wemby would be on another level, they both have exactly what the other requires to reach their FULL potential 🥶👽
