Fun fact: the dog’s name sounds particularly cute to me because in my mother language (Russian) „Zaya“ translates as cute shortage for rabbit /bunny (Zayetz). Often couples would call each other Zaya or Zay so when I heard it without looking at screen I was a bit confused lol

Potentially random question, but what sort of camera do you use to film?
what did you think of the red,white and royal blue movie? I thought it was a huge joke and had to laugh at how bad it was...But like it wasn't even bad enough to be funny. It's a shame because I really like the book 😭

It wasn't perfect, I agree on that part. I did like the casting for Henry and Alex tho. They embodied the characters quite nicely imo.
@@ccaiitliin I agree with you that the casting was pretty good but that was about it. Though I thought the actors were a bit too old considering I think they’re like 21 or something in the book. It would’ve been fine with me if they aged them up in the movie tho (which they didn’t do from what I could tell). Personally I didn’t think the dialogue translated over well and it ended up giving bad Netflix Christmas movie…I can see why people might like that but that’s just not the vibe I got from the book. Something just felt so low effort about it. Like they just directly tried to translate the book into the movie without taking the time to really adapt the story to movie format. It felt a bit lazy and I think that’s why it felt like a big joke to me and a parody to the source material 🫠
@@ccaiitliincasting was spot on for Henry and Alex. I really wish it was verbatim to the book😂so yes would’ve been better if it was like 3+ hours of a movie. The transitions were weird and jumpy. Idk why the king was there instead of queen Mary. Pretty sure but lmk if I have the wrong name. And Henry’s mom wasn’t there😢same w June!!😡
