The best killswitch ever was when they had Howard out front .
Unfortunately people always pick songs like this that don't really show you what he's really all about.
Especially if it's the so called "radio friendly" version where they edit the screams and growls.
You should watch his live of this song. Saw them live decades ago and they were amazing.
Adam D, the guitarist with the mud chops won the price is right. From what I heard, he never told the band and just showed up and said “yeah, I won a car”. But the price is right is on TH-cam of him winning.

This song was in resident evil... so yes. made for commercial success lol. Howard has on eof the best voices in metal ever. a bit of trivia here... both Howard and Phil Labonte tried out for this band. Considering Phil ended up in another one of the largest metal bands of the 2ks (All That Remains), I can only imagine how insane the choice between them must have been. Also, Howard is now doing another project you should check out. Sion "The Blade" is the song to check out. even this many years later, his voice is INCREDIBLE.
You have to check out In Flames "Ropes" or "Where Dead Ships Dwell". Been listening to them since the 90s. Also for a totally out of your realm Slaughter To Prevail "Viking" 🔥🤘🤘🤘

KSE is the best metalcore band. Period. Howard Jones in one of the best metal singers ever. He needs to tour with the pop singer, Howard Jones, and they can cover each other's songs.
Adam, the lead guitarist, is the creative genius behind the band. He used to be the drummer, then shifted to guitar. He sings incredible backing vocals, and he produces their music. This is a rabbit hole well worth diving into.

But the sing and music video has both performing vocals. The music video gave me chills to see Howard come back to join for a feature and have the past and present performing together

Metalcore is still my favorite genre. You should check out All That Remains too (especially their older stuff. "The deepest grey" is a banger. Or "six", which was made popular by being one of the hardest songs on guitar hero)

These guys are GOATed, and id recommend checking out the audio version in your own time. The music video tones down some of the screams in a way I think hurts the song.

I REALLY wish they would've used the album version for the video.
"My Curse" is the first song of theirs that really caught me, but they've been a favorite for almost two decades. Well worth a listen. The End of Heartache was also on the Resident Evil 2 soundtrack. Another reason I love that movie.

Yeah, these guys are an excellent live band, and if ya wanna hear BOTH Killswitch singers(Howard in the video is their 2nd singer and Jesse who was the OG came back) they have a song called Signal Fire, and they both go OFF!! KE is a criminally underrated band, and both singers are excellent!

Tbh Cliff, this is the mix for the RE soundtrack, mixed completely different to the proper album version of this song, like was done to Slipknot's "Wait and Bleed." I'd honestly search out the normal version and listen to that, 1000x more powerful.

Was watching you and Knox Hill getting at you know who the valdamort of the rap game 😂😂😂 and when I saw this song I subbed.
