As I said in the Jared Goff video, the QB bubble is about to burst, the NFL needs a salary cap exclusively for the QB. Let's remember that QBs not always win Super Bowls, a lot of the time is the defense that gets the win, or the stupidity of the rival.
I think it is gonna be like people with video games where they will complain about the quality and microtransactions but still buy the games....for a while. Until they start becoming reluctant to put money down on anything even if it looks good. I think in the NFL that will take the form of being lower risk and/or higher quality to take a lower quality but stable QB at a lower price point rather than continuing to gamble and losing on could-be stars. (Of course, proven winners will still get paid but the number in that population will be like a half dozen or so guys)
