After taking the plunge and taking one of the biggest risks in my TH-cam career, by purchasing a £10,000 #amg #gt Black Series bodykit from Temu instead of paying £155,000 for the genuine #mercedes panels. Im still praying that the quality of the replica parts was going to be up to scratch.
We fitted a few parts in the last video but in this time we are going to get the entire kit fitted and completed ready to send off to the bodyshop.

bro the part 1 was on my fy 2h ago, watched half, left the house, got back and when I finished part 1 part 2 had dropped 35 min ago. I am so happy

The AMG is looking really good and surprisingly the body kit is fitting up quite well considering that every kit no matter how good the quality is will always need a certain amount of fettling to get the gaps spot on!!
@Chris Slix Try adjusting the bonnet latches. That might align the corners of the hood and the bumper better. Also the right front wing looked like it could come slightly out at at the back beside the door which would in turn take the very front edge in toward the hood more, closing that gap even more. That would also close the gap at the top of the wing and the door where it was wider and also bring it away from the bottom at the door, where it was too tight, making it a consistent gap all the way up and down between the wing and the door??? I would try all that stuff before any body work like sanding or filling, cos once u start doing that there’s no going back. Also if u need to take anything off for any reason, it will need to go back exactly as u did it first time die to it being sanded and filled… 😉

Might be good to put a bead of tiger seal between the body and rear spoiler bud, will really help seal it up and stop wind and rain getting in. Also stops any rattle.
Definitely it’s a must to have in the shop, side skirts almost always need tiger seal just to help you get them on and not have them rattle.
I didn’t know if you know the heat gun trick. Sometimes when you heat up the parts before attaching the area it helps return it to its original form after shipping and gravity and make alignment a bit easier. They definitely still need trimming at times.

Hope you test fitted the head lights before you start sanding and moving bits Chris... Will defo need to be looked at before body shop imo
I think there is a slight bit of bend from the front end crash causing your fitment to all be pushed back
That project is such a treat.
Absolutely killed it on this one. Car looks amazing. On the introduction of this idea I knew it would be at least 150 grand for that kit from Mercedes I legit called it. And the subsequent decision to go the China route at first left me feeling a little icky but that finished product speaks volumes for the savings are insane you could buy another couple of cool cars for that money. Hats off man, I would whip it!
Undersold how much work is going to be required to make that fit nice. Hoping it turns out nice - looking forward to seeing the panel gaps/joins up close.

Looked like the bonnet needed to go back towards the windscreen a little to me which would have opened up that bumper to bonnet gap a little and you wouldn't have had to sand the wing tops..

A body shop can fix the gaps and make it look OEM.. Sometimes you can go but so far but you don't wanna damage the kit to a point it becomes not fixable..

Shame about the bumper my dc5 bumper was fibreglass and it lasted 1 mile out the body shop cracked over the first speed bump 🎉

Chris,get some large neodymium magnets bond them onto.that front splitter so it can be easily removed,no need for screws
The bumper can be worked to make the gap👍🏻

This is turning out to be an amazing build! On the other hand, spoiler's just downright shit. Makes the whole setup look a lot cheaper than necessary imo. Maybe just replacing the spoiler with a more stock one would help a lot. Can't wait to see the details being added though!
The carbon fibre looks wavy I would get it flattened smooth and apply 2k clear because it seems it's just resin which is barely UV resistant
100% looks better with the splitter extension. Ya just gotta drive with it in mind.

Loved this one. Very satisfying to see the before and after panel gaps. Kit looks mega. Those wheels look like 15s now 😆 but I know you’ll have a new set planned

The spoiler is outrageous, smaller would have been better in my opinion only, keep up the good job.
Good To See that you have stepped it up Mr Slix , NOW the channel is drawing in the likes and the viewers ! As for the AMG Build . . . the fit on this body kit is looking bang on ! But obviously it takes a lot of Time and Skill to tweak/adjust fibreglass , but this is the Risk you have had to take to compete with the Major Big players on youtube like matt armstrong/ goonsquad / Tavarish

I think the most important thing is you to like the new look. Who knows Black series will spot this as a Chinese knock off and who doesn't know wont give a "F" if is a normal AMG
I think you need to finish this then find an owner of a genuine black edition to do a comparison. Schmee would certainly have the eye for it 😂
if the car will be painted to black, it will hide the panel gaps. You probably know this and I hope you go for that :) It looks great.
Rubber washers is what you need to stop water ingress or tiger seal

you could have just used the original bumpers from mercedes. fitment would be on point and they were not that expensive
