That is one of the nicest aftermarket body kits I have ever seen. The £10K to £11K is money well spent, especially when compared to £150K from Mercedes.
Do you know that the rear wing produces so much downforce that extra reinforced supports were installed in the trunk where the wing is supported? otherwise it will either break or bend the body.
And the extra front splitter is probably required to balance the down force or it may lift the front at speed assuming if it is actually adjusted correctly to make downforce rather than a be a air brake😊.
This is dam true with most manufacturers that create higher spec models that create more downforce. normally prefer to mount to rear quarter/ basically making it part of the chassis for strength.
@nickbs2286 there is an extra splitter on the black that can be pulled out from.under the other one. So this kit looks like a fixed replica of that. Imo. Carwow had a video on it

Probably for 5k more the Chinese can make a 100% fitment kit for this AMG. This is the proof that you only pay for the brand, and not for the real price of those Mercedes parts. It is well known that China can make quality parts or less quality parts depending on the price. You pay less, you get less quality, you ask for quality you pay more, but a motherload less than stealerships
That, it looked just like cheap plastic with a carbon fiber print. Also did you ever consider the cost of engineering, making molds, ... for the limited number mercedes sold? Lastly, rich people get a kick out of expensive parts....
Ema say thanks for making these long videos where you do a lot of work on the car at once instead of just small little pieces of time I appreciate this form of entertainment and I will continue to watch forever
Mate that is Gangster!! The kit looks mean and aggressive, suits the car brilliantly, it makes it look like a very expensive drift car!! Cant wait for paint!!👍👍👍
The AMG is looking really good and surprisingly the body kit is fitting up quite well considering that every kit no matter how good the quality is will always need a certain amount of fettling to get the gaps spot on!!
The car had lots of front end damage, perhaps that's why the body kit didn't quite fit. Obviously it's a knock off body kit and they usually come with issues but you didn't seem to look for any minor frame damage. 1 mounting point pushed half inch out of place can cause lots of lines to be off.
@@damvoo1still makes no sense lol why would temu sponsor him? I’m assuming it’s because temu brings in more clicks than Ali express would.. algorithm shit 🤷♂️

And the subsequent decision to go the China route at first left me feeling a little icky but that finished product speaks volumes for the savings are insane you could buy another couple of cool cars for that money. Hats off man, I would whip it!

Just found your channel during the first video of this project. I gotta say. Mate as a car lover of 40 years. Which I say that cause I've seen a lot. But honestly you've completely blown me away! New subscriber here!
Might be good to put a bead of tiger seal between the body and rear spoiler bud, will really help seal it up and stop wind and rain getting in. Also stops any rattle. Definitely it’s a must to have in the shop, side skirts almost always need tiger seal just to help you get them on and not have them rattle.
I didn’t know if you know the heat gun trick. Sometimes when you heat up the parts before attaching the area it helps return it to its original form after shipping and gravity and make alignment a bit easier. They definitely still need trimming at times.
Playing I’m going to pop some tags while showing the temu kit on the car at the end had me rolling. Keep up the good work, I’m a subscriber for life now.
Saw first video the other night. Subscribed straight away. Not everyone will own a car like that but the methods you’re using are achievable by many. Like it 😎
Chris, maybe making the body kits mounting holes ovals instead of leaving them circles will give you the adjustability that you need. I enjoy these cars so your video is fun for me. I can’t afford a car like this so the videos keep me smiling.
Kit looks banging that spoiler daymmm Shame about the bumper my dc5 bumper was fibreglass and it lasted 1 mile out the body shop cracked over the first speed bump 🎉
@Chris Slix Try adjusting the bonnet latches. That might align the corners of the hood and the bumper better. Also the right front wing looked like it could come slightly out at at the back beside the door which would in turn take the very front edge in toward the hood more, closing that gap even more. That would also close the gap at the top of the wing and the door where it was wider and also bring it away from the bottom at the door, where it was too tight, making it a consistent gap all the way up and down between the wing and the door??? I would try all that stuff before any body work like sanding or filling, cos once u start doing that there’s no going back. Also if u need to take anything off for any reason, it will need to go back exactly as u did it first time die to it being sanded and filled… 😉
You should make your own strut stabilizer supports for the larger front diffuser. It would look really cool to ride around with it all the time and if you give it some really good support it won’t flex and get caught that easily and just pay attention to where you’re going and don’t hit any potholes and Bob Uncle you got a nice front. Splitter
