Great review. I wanted to replace benq 1085ST and this model seems a good fit. Official specs say that max screen size of 150 inches while you have using 220 ( mine is around 240 inches) so it would be great if you clarify this 150 vs your 220 inches screen size. Thanks!!
Very informative. I am planning to buy this model. I hv a vividstorm 92 inch black crystal floor raised screen. But throw distance is 12 feet. Does it matchable with the distance? Cause i cannot fit closer the projector position than 12 feet. Waiting for your opinion.
Im trying to decide between this one and the x3000i. My room is 8.5 foot long. The x3000i is Lso $1000 more. What one would you recommend? I want it for both games and movies.
At that distance, you can probably get about 100 inches with the X3000i. The X3000i is a bit more color accurate, brighter, and has an LED light source so no bulbs to replace. On the other hand, the TK700STi has a shorter throw so you could probably go 120 inches. If you're ok with a 100 inch screen and the higher price, the X3000i is excellent. But if you value some savings and want a bigger image, the TK700STi is a fantastic alternative. Both ultimate are great for movies and gaming.
Pretty decent! Blacks look slightly more grey, but only to an extremely discerning eye. As a horror buff, I loved movies on the TK700STi, like Event Horizon, Alien, Get Out.
Hi! Thanks for this video, it's really helping me in the decision of buying this projector. I actually only need a last information I can't find anywhere. Hopefully you can help me. I have a 70-inches large (horizontal size, not diagonal) projecting screen. It should be about 80-inches (diagonal) in 16:9 format. The distance between the ceiling-projector-holder is about 6.5-feet. The technical specs say 100-inches screen at 6.5-feet distance. It's too big for my screen. Is 100" the maximum zoomed-out image or the minimum? Can the projected area be smaller at the same distance or do I have to move the projector holder nearer to the screen?

I like this projector because it has low input lag, high refresh rate, and dedicated gaming modes!

How are the black levels? I’ve been looking for a projector that shows black images well since I like watching a lot of horror movies

Probably it should be enough no need to move
I think you never heard Optoma uhd38x ?
That's a great projector! I'm eager to test the UHD38x and UHD35stx.
Uhd35stx has a fixed zoom so no flexibility about mounting.
I would have never guessed you knew things about projectors... :)
