why are you putting the tail on OVER the loincloth? That's weird, and how does the character's anatomy work then?
Because I'd rather cover the blue buttcheeks than pretend that realism matters when it comes to my blue spellcasting humanoid dragon guy.

The furry loincloth actually has an extra opening in the back that is not present on other 4H Ogre-size figures - seems pretty clear that they intended for Aracagorr's tail to pass through it.
Simple, aracagorr made a cut in the skirt and put his tail through it
The added torso joints takes this line to a new level

Easily top 3 figures of the year for me! Beautiful figure. You need to see it in person to really appreciate it. Thought about cancelling my preorder at one point, but I'm glad I didn't. The paintjob alone is a 10/10.
He came out beautiful with that shade of blue adding tremendous definition to the scales! I would love to bash some wings on him ❤
Really great figure! Only disappointment is they did not give him a wing adaptor! Would love to see someone experiment with ogre-scale accessories. At some point I want to make him a wizard.
That torso is a real pain. I actually took off the upper section, and damn if it wasn't trouble to get them both back on again (when you have a ball join at either end, it's really tough to apply enough pressure). Won't be taking this guy apart again. Otherwise though, he's great. More poseable than I would have expected, and I love the paint job and sculpt.

It's a GREAT toy.
It looks absolutely amazing. The color a pops so hard. The only problem I see is that they should have tapered the purple on the forearms because it just stops abruptly because of the gauntlets.
Just got mine right before I saw the video. Love this big dragonman. I’m glad you showed the tight neck joint I had just thought he had a really limited range not realizing the bottom ball of the neck was just locked up on mine. I heated him up applied some shock oil and he has great neck movement now.
I should probably add some shock oil as well.

He's an extremely impressive figure in a lot of ways, but I can't help but be disappointed they didn't give him vertical hinges for the sword hands. It's especially weird considering they've been doing them for a while now, and they had to sculpt new ones for this body anyway.
DorkLair wanted MORE fire on that sword.

I'm thinking on getting some for painting with more darker and "natural" colors like black and brown but original blue and metallics look so good that I'm not sure I want to make a mess out of this beauty. Thanks for another great review.

Picked mine up at my LCS yesterday! Such a rad figure. I wish the head had a little more articulation AND the tail was a pain in the ass to put on but he's still really rad
The head on mine has excellent articulation, and as I showed in the video, the tail is actually pretty easy to install if you know what to do.
@@DorkLair I had used a hot air gun that I also use for crafting. it was fine enough but I was constantly in fear I would mess up the torso even with the heat.
Maybe recency bias, this is my favorite Mythic Legions figure. It’s breathtaking. I really like Kraggnar. Aracagor has me wanting a custom dragon head in orange. Almost bought Sk’urrge. This body is amazing.
They really raised the bar on ogre scale with this body.
I just got mine and definitely is in the running for toy of the year ,the year of the dragon is going great so far . The only thing i would have changed is make the fire a more natrual red and yellow color .

Action figures, like art, is subjective. I understand the appeal this character has for many, in fact, I had this on preorder at one time. But there’s something about this character that doesn’t gel for me. I think it needed a couple of more design passes. The body is cool, the dragon head outstanding, but they don’t look quite right when joined. They look slapped together. It bothers me enough I won’t be getting it now. Happy for anyone who enjoys it, however.

Cool u did how to attach tail. I had mine since 15th and havent opened it becuz of tail issue. Im leary id break him.
Yeah just slide it without removing the torso. It may take a few tries, but you'll eventually hook it in and be good to go.
I LOVE this figure, but it doesn't love me back lol. I get pricked by his spikes and especially his sword.
You need to get yourself those gloves that people wear to suck oysters.
