My favorite voices from Casper the Friendliest Ghost are Alan Shay, Malachi Pearson (even if his voice did change in the 1996 cartoon), Jermy Foley and Brendan Ryan Barrett I have no opinion on Devon Werkheiser, Robbie Sublett and Bobby Moynihan but I do appreciate and give props their own takes as the Friendly Ghost.
From best to worst in my opinion; Malachi Pearson (95 movie) Alan Shay Jeremy Foley Mae Questel Lani Minella / Brendan Ryan Barrett (tied) Walter Tetley / Cecil Roy (tied) Malachi Pearson (series) Julie McWhirter Devon Werkheiser Bobby Moynihan (I recognise him from We Bare Bears as Panda) Robbie Sublett (he almost sounds like Sheen from Jimmy Neutron, but less nasally) Norma Macmillan (seriously this voice is annoying) Carolyn Hennesy (only below Norma for the lack of emotion) I'm so not into the tonal shift from "little boy" to "teenager" to "literally sounds like a man". Also the characterisation of Casper in Harvey Girls makes him like literally every other contemporary young boy character in animation within the last 10 years, most notably Dipper (Gravity Falls) who probably started that trend. Not a fan of this at all and completely removes any sympathy I have towards his character which is, like, his whole appeal. (I do love Dipper, this isn't a slant on him) Malachi is the best voice role but only for the movie. I know his voice must have deepened before the series, but the whole direction was off I felt. While I'd tolerate Carolyn's lack of emotion, my GOD Norma's take on him is literally grating, and this is coming from somebody who actually /likes/ Alvin and the Chipmunks (or the pre-CGI ones at least, don't get me started on those movies). Julie's Casper is the most obnoxious. She sounds like she's going out of her way to make him sound precious, yet he somehow sounds like an old woman, rather than a child. And learn something new every day. The original voice of Mr. Peabody's boy Sherman was one of the original Caspers. Also, I REALLY want to see a Bobby Moynihan voiced Casper project in the future. Maybe something about playing Panpan in We Bare Bears, but he manages to be childlike and cute and befuddled without being cloying. I never had any desire to see Harvey Girls, but I do want to check that episode out.

I wonder if 6:25-6:50 was taken from videos I uploaded? I've tried increasing the chances of others viewing my channel by pointing out other characters the voice actors did in the descriptions of my videos.
In all honesty, I don't think Dave is going to do ANY of the other Famous Studios/Harvey Characters due to either having VERY little history or they aren't as mainstream and well-known as Casper despite going through different voice evolutions.
The ones I know are Yukari Uehara, Yukana, Keita Nishi, Yū Hayashi, Yuri Shiratori, Kiyomi Asai, Akiko Yajima, Kōsuke, Ichimura, Kazuhiro Shindou, Motoko Kumai, Hiroaki Hori, Takako Honda, and Junta Terashima. Tell me in the comments if you know his other Japanese Voice Actors
While I do think Ned and voice of Duey Duck are funny, their voices don't seem to right to me for Casper. It feels kinda of off probably because I'm more used to Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Bobby in Ducktales.

Well, I am seriously impressed yet strangely Casper hardly has his own sols series nowadays. Woody Woodpecker has had (so far) ten new cartoons made about him, but not Casper. It's like he finally stepped up into puberty. Still, he has some longevity, really (even though he's already dead).
Funny that you should say that. Someone commented on my video with episode 2 of the 1996 series showing Fatso saying "Trains ain't scary" and linked me the train from a spirited beginning. I thought he was linking me something about Thomas the tank engine.
I get that Casper doesn't have a consistent voice despite his iconic personage, but casting Bobby Moynihan as kid voice is just plain odd. But then again he's also voicing Louie the duck in the Ducktales reboot who's also a kid so what do I know?

Like Jim Cummings , Miriam Flynn, Tress MacNeille, and Rob Paulsen. I don't know who they voiced in Ducktales. But I know that in the Casper series I have on my channel Jim was Albert Frankenstein, Miriam was Poil, Tress was Miss Banshee, and Rob was Spooky.

Robbie Sublett and Devon Werkheiser have to be the worst voice actors for Casper, The 1st one because of the cheap pitch shifter and the 2nd because he sounds too old, If i imagined Casper's voice i would of thought of a more child like voice.
