For those who don’t know. There can be one player that doesn’t make it offside. Most of the times it’s the keeper but as he was higher up the defender became the last man and he is not holding up the offside line. The second last man does. So actually correct from EA there.

yeah in the book it says “second to last defender”. meaning the gk is also a defender but this is only an assumption since it could be any combo or two players being the last two and defining the offside line. surprised some people don’t know this

10:08 Offside because he passed forwards when he was in front of the second last defender (the keeper). It’s just weird cause keeper is normally last defender
the keeper plays no role in this so seeing all the explanations in here people should not start mentioning him because its confusing to most.

@@michaelfellner9822 because the player was the last man back he counted as the keeper so therefore when he passes the ball to ronaldinho that player is technically the keeper so yes he was offsides

10:56 a little tip that most people don’t know, if you had tapped square when Puskas was on the floor he might’ve of been able to get that second shot off. For people who don’t know square makes players get off the ground quicker 🤷🏻

Try it guys, obviously it’s a one in 10 games where it’s actually worth staying as the downed player and getting up. Normally it’s worth changing player. Which means most of the time you’ll forget to press square as you won’t do it very often

10:08 Yup that was offside I'm actually surprised EA programmed that correctly. That last defender is basically replacing the GK he is the reference point. Ronaldinho was ahead of everyone besides the last defender who is playing as a GK now in this situation that's why he's off. But hypothetically if there was one more defender ahead or behind that last defender who is being reference as a GK now Ronaldinho would have been onside

10:10 it happened to me also basically when the goalie is out the off side rule goes different ,the rule goes the off side is measured from the second last man that usually is the defender because the goalie is the last one but on this case that last defender was the last man not the second last man

the rule doesn’t make a distinction between outfield players and goalkeepers, it’s just assumed the goalkeeper should be the last man so you just have to be behind any 2 men.

puskas....if you play down the line and love to cut the ball back to the centre he is your man. He moves in and out and stays clear for the pass. His AI attacking awareness is so damm good.

10:09 is offside caus the keeper is above the last defenders, so the offside line are where the SECOND last defender is at.
It was offside as u need two opposing players in front of the player receiving the pass, the goalie pushed up so there was only one opposing player, hence offeide

It is off because the rule is 2 defending players behind the ball which is normally 1 defender and the gk but with this this call its only your opponents number 6 between the ball an the goal

Has anyone used prime and mid eusebio? I packed both of them in icon packs and when i tested out the prime one my whole team just stopped working went like 2-6 in champs but then i swapped mid eusebio back and got 14-6 like hows that posible. I got prime euse with 14 games 3goals and mid has like 100 games 140goals 30 assist and i finished div 1 last season
