Nina is probably be more sad about her dad than anything. Not about the fact that he's trash or is living a hard life, but about how he almost killed her and treated her like she wasn't anything of real value. It's wonderful how she has such good women in her life. I hope they can give her all the love she could ever wish for.

The hospital would have called the police. At least in the US. It would've been one of the first things they did. Daddy should be in jail.
