Hello; I did some part time work for an old farmer on his bailer. HA HA It had a Wisconsin V 4 engine on it that ran real good. Anyway He wanted me to work a "slip-scoop" with Him. I said what's a "slip-scoop"? That thing amazed me how simple but effective it was. Do you ever take that with you to one of your shows/meets? Everyone seems to have old tractors, Don't get me wrong, I like them. But what about the novelty equipment? Talk about novelty, nice camera angles. Great video. Looking for the next one. Thanks.

Wonderful camera placement! Am I correct that the Tumblebug has only two positions-- scrape and dump. It doesn't seem there is an intermediate position where it doesn't scrape to just transport soil from where you have been scraping to where you want to dump it. Is something like this still made?

Squatch - FYI - history on the tumblebug - looks like this model is pretty close to a 1920-ish John Deer Killefer, with possible modifications. Sears Roebuck also had a very similar looking model for this time period. I found a few parts diagrams for the JD model and the levers and operation method was a little different but it used the same basic principle for turning and stopping the drum and scooping blade. Starting the 30's and moving forward up and beyond WWII, there were a TON of bigger models that ran behind bigger tractors and had larger payloads. Most of the development of the smaller models stopped. There are a few companies today that make for of a drag/planing version for leveling but very few actually pick up the dirt in a hopper.

Just to mention a few of the jobs the trusty H performed ! The purrrrrr of the ol girl ? You have brought back some great memories thank you . she is a beautifull ol tractor !
