  • Wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin joins Sadie to talk about facing your fears, getting outside your comfort zone, and carrying on the legacy of her father, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin. They also dive into why "Dancing with the Stars" is way more terrifying than a crocodile, Bindi's love story with her husband, why they named their daughter Grace Warrior, and how to find the good in any day. Check out more about Bindi's conservation work at wildlifewarriors.org.

They have a little boy who was born in June of 2020. His name is Brave. My cousin bought him some baby warrior outfits for his 1st birthday 🎂🎉 this past summer.

    I grew up without a Father. So many walk that same path of life, never knowing the TRUE guidance a Father can provide, the sense of protection, the unwavering love a Father is supposed to extend to his children.
    It only got harder once I had children of my own, HOW do I be a Father, when I don’t even know what it means…so many abandon their children asking that same question to themselves.
    God changed everything, God began showing me what it meant to love, to care, to nurture…but not just my children, but those around me “thy neighbor”.
    I realized I knew no Father, just so I could come to know THE FATHER, when the time was right 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
    We are going to have “Moments of Uncertainty”
    But that is not as important as the element you use to relieve yourself. Many followers of Christ are still indulging in our vices and addictions to relieve our “Uncertainties”
    Lean on God in your darkest moments, lean on the word that says you were created with meaning and purpose, lean on the Grace of God…let it steady your mind, your heart and your body.
    I don’t know who I’m writing to, who’s reading this, but God is ready, and waiting for you to seek him, through Jesus Christ, whom he sent to die the death meant for you and I.
    Not just on Sunday, not just when you “need” him, not just when you’re desperate…but every day, hour, minute and second of your life.
    Develop consistency in Christ, and you will come to know what it means to “Be still, and know, that he is God”
    Glory be to God 🩸🩸🩸
    If I still have you here, God bless you, join me as I take you inside a moment of my own personal “Uncertainty” in life, while never forgetting God has me always 🙏🏽🕊

    Hi Sadie,
    I have always enjoyed listening to you. I greatly admire your heart for the Lord and how you live to serve Him each day. However, with that being said, I was pretty discouraged when I saw the title of this video. With a total of over 60,000 babies aborted per year, I think it is incredibly inappropriate to have a video with the title of "Standing Up for Those Who Cannot Speak for Themselves" in reference to animals. I absolutely believe that we should be good stewards of the amazing gifts God has given us to enjoy while on the earth, including respecting and caring for animals. However, if I am not mistaken, you have never made a podcast on abortion or the effects of abortion. I understand that this is a big topic to tackle and that you would receive backlash. Even so, I feel that it is our duty as Christians to address this ever-present reality that is facing our society. Please do not get me wrong, I am not writing this to attack you. I think that God has given you a gift when it comes to reaching people's hearts. However, I do ask that the next time you make a video that is more lighthearted, that you do not title it with such a misleading name that disrespects the thousands of babies that are killed each year because they "cannot speak for themselves".

    • @abigaylefesmire9481
      @abigaylefesmire9481 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sierrabrock6798  Hi Sierra,
      You have made a good point. I agree that just because someone addresses an issue within a bigger, broader category that the person does not have to immediately cover every single topic that is remotely related. The point that I was trying to get to in my post is that I believe that there are certain levels of importance when it comes to God's creation. Meaning, people first and animals later. I think this was a great video, we should absolutely care for wildlife and protect it. Where this video went wrong was the title. As you said, there are so many girls that are victims of human trafficking. This is absolutely devastating to me and I am sure it is devastating to you as well. That is why the title of this video caught me off guard, because "there are bigger issues out there". At the end of the day, I would rather be criticized for standing up for the unborn and the captives than animals that have no souls. Yes, God gave animals for us to enjoy and "have dominion over" (Genesis 1:26-28), however, I feel that a title such as this one should be redirected towards something of more value and importance.

    • @abigaylefesmire9481
      @abigaylefesmire9481 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sierrabrock6798  Sierra,
      Thank you for pointing out to me that animals cannot speak for themselves, I was unaware of that until now. Clearly, you do not understand the point I was making, so I am not even going to go there. I feel that your admiration and love for Sadie is clouding your ability to read my comment without bias. In regards to your second paragraph, go back and read my first post. I never asked Sadie to make a podcast regarding abortion. No, instead I was saying that if you are going to do a podcast on protecting wildlife, you should not title it "Standing Up for Those Who Cannot Speak for Themselves". While this title is accurate and applies to the context of the video, I feel that it was careless to use these words in reference to animals who have no souls or eternal impact on our lives.
      If I were you, I would be careful about making assumptions about other people. You have no idea who I am, what I do for a living, the struggles I have faced in my life, and how I have come to know Christ through those struggles. You are clearly making assumptions about be based on your third paragraph. I get it, a lot of work goes into podcasts. Telling me that there are things behind the scenes "that I do not know about" is inaccurate and ignorant. If you would have taken the time to read my post without bias before condemning me, you would have seen that I was not criticizing Sadie or demanding anything of her. In fact, I said that God has given her a gift when it comes to reaching people's hearts. As someone who has grown up watching Sadie on tv, I have always admired the courage and confidence that she radiates. However, even if I was offering constructive criticism, what would be wrong with that? After all, iron sharpens iron.
      I will no longer be responding to your comments. I understand that we are not going to see eye-to-eye on this matter and that is okay. God knows my heart. God knows your heart. I really do not even think that we disagree on too much here actually. However, as I said, your loyalty to Sadie may be causing you to view my opinions through a distorted lens.
      Have a nice day.
