Do you have kids? Do you cook? Do take care of aging parents? If you waste time it means you have too much. Join a curch or a charity amd work for free. You'll feel your aren't wasting your time. Help others less fortunate. Do some voluntary work and you'll feel more efficient.

When I was a student I volunteered at a homeless shelter. One of the most grounding experiences to date.
