I underappreciated Zakk until I saw him live. The man is an absolute beast, a very technically proficient beast. Easily one of the best live performers of all time.

In many regards Zakk exposes the True Power of Black Sabbath's Music . I can see why Ozzy has stuck with him through the years . He really is an uncaged Heavy Metal Beast on Stage .

In my opinion this is Zakk's Sabbaths universe, an updated version of Sabbath's songs. This is Zakk's time, I really wish we could move on from comparing him to previous Qzzy guitarists. They all had their place and time in their own eras. I, too, have evolved, so I'm ok with a little update and creativity on certain songs. This entire lineup is totally badass. Thank you for posting.
abnzg Not with the amount that of gain he's using, you won't really notice the difference. Trust me, I have both an SG and a Les Paul and they don't sound much different from each other. The Les Paul has a bit more sustain to it, that's about it.

I think the war pigs solo might be one of zakks best improvised solos to date. usually its the same pentatonic licks but it didnt sound that way during this êrformance he did a fantastic job (as per usual) Fucking killer
