I'm currently practicing this stitch for a blanket I'm making my sister. My only challenge is keeping the ends even so I second guess my work, but I'm glad you explained it was just a part of the stitch so I'll do the single crochet as a border when I'm done. Thanks again. You're awesome as always and I've refered friends to you whom I have learning as well. :)
I love your tutorials - they are so easy to follow especially for a beginner like me - I was able to create a project using the basketweave for the first time using your tutorial. Thank you.
Thank YOU! I made a baby blanket for my son while I was pregnant. I made a yellow blanket with blue trim. I love this ripple stich it is beautiful!!! =0)
Would making the triple crochet stitch a little looser make the edges curl less? I'm going to have to try that! I love the look of this stitch Mikey. Thanks so much for the tutorials you've been doing!
I just recently started back to crocheting afters YEARS, saw this and love it, however, I am trying to figure out how to make the opposite side of the piece look like the beginning of it. You start with a DC then go to triple, how do you reverse that or can you?
I just happened on a similar pattern that will look the same front and back...The pattern was given to work in panels, but I think you could easily make it longer. R1-Ch32, dc in 3rd ch,dc across, hdc in last ch. R2-Ch2 (hdc), *dc Back post next st, dc Front post next st,* across, hdc last st. trn R3- Rep R2 (columns of Odd R#s will work opposite prev row) R4&5-Ch2, *dc Fp next st, dc Bp next st,* across, hdc last st. trn (All even R#s will "mirror" prev row) Rep R2-5, end on a R2, then finish
Mikey, I want to be able to reverse it so it looks the same at the end of my project.. You start out with SC to DC to 3C. I want to do SC to DCto 3C to DC to SC. Can't figure out how to make the 3C to DC look right as it does in the beginning...HELP
I meant a chain. I am sorry I didn't explain it better. For example, if you are doing a triple crochet, if you skip a stitch you just chain one instead of a triple crochet (so that essentially will be the skipped stitch). This way, if you started with a chain of 45, you will end with 45 stitches. I hope this helps. :)
Thank you so much for always using great demonstration colored yarn and for all the tips you have indeed made me make better scarves. Thanks for telling us the yarn you used.. it is pretty..

@jeanhawkins5l nope it just leaves spaces or holes,,,,,,, the length is established by the beginning chain!
It looks great, like always.

I think you have to create an extra stitch for the space so that it doesn't shorten.
What is the name of the music in the back ground???
