      Hello Mayca .
      Excuse me for intruding .
I just wanted to ask you about Spanish language: is it simple to learn it , honestly 😊?
And what is the most difficult part in learning it?
      Thank you

    • @rubenacevedoacevedo3124
      @rubenacevedoacevedo3124 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@bahamansour3178 I think Spanish it's easy to learn in some way because the pronunciation it's standard (the pronunciation doesn't change depending on different words), and also you have only five vowel sounds. However, the grammar could be a little bit tough if you are an English speaker, because you have more tenses and you conjugate verbs (depending on the nouns).

    • @bahamansour3178

Seems to me it is just like Arabic language which is so difficult.
Hawever , many people encouraged me to learn Spanish language. But bcz i traveled to Africa some years ago i learnt some French. Now i,m boosting what i had learnt ,thx to the youtube.
In all languages it is the grammer that's always comlicating and the difficulty varies of course from one language to another.
possibly English language remains the easiest among all .
Lastly , what is more difficult : Spanish language or Italian language?
And is there any similarity between both ?
      Thank you

Gill, you are so cute and so English: you give us an example of someone apologizing for being 5 minutes late. 🤣 I'm from Argentina, 5 minutes does not even count as "late". You need from 15 minutes on to apologize. It's called "the 15 minutes tolerance".. and, believe it or not, it's a formal thing for some jobs. Although nowadays, everyone keeps you informed via WhatsApp where they are and when exactly are arriving.

    Dear Ma'am Gill,
This lesson on Slang and Informal words was quite interesting ! It's quite surprising to know that the word 'wicked'can also be used in a positive sense ! Though the word doesn't sound good and we are conditioned to believe that 'wicked' is bad.We often come across the word 'fancy' in the 18th century novels which literally means to imagine or to think. It was quite an old usage and was very much in vogue in the then times.
Thanks,Ma'am for coming up with new English lessons ! It's brilliant !
( Ma'am,kindly let me know if i have used the word 'brilliant' correctly ! I have tried to apply it while writing a sentence and that's how we learn something accurately !)

Hi - thank you for your kind words and donation :-) You're right, slang words should be used carefully, even by native speakers. It depends a lot on the context - how well you know the person you're speaking to, whether the situation is formal or informal, etc. It helps to notice when other people use slang, and what kind of reaction they get. If someone smiles or laughs when a slang word is used, and nobody seems to feel uncomfortable, then that's a good sign. I hope this helps to clarify :-)
