I’m so happy I saw this video. I read the recent bar exam question no. 1 under polical law and it’s related to senate inquiries. You answered the bar question. It’s about a resource speaker who is a fugitive. The senate asked him the names of the persons/ officials who helped him escape and he replied that he will leave it to the senate to find out the information about the immigration officers who helped him. Senate cited him in contempt and said he will be detained until he refuses to answer the question. The question is: did the senate lawfully cited him in contempt?
I did not know the answer until I saw this video. Thanks
