it doesn't much matter what you see after you've seen GWTW, no movie can compare to its perfection. it is the best movie of all time, not because it's a masterpiece, although it is, but because of what it makes everyone feel when you see GWTW. your suddenly in the 1860's , your with Melanie, Ashley , Mammy, the Civil War whether your on the right or wrong side, and mostly your with two incredible beautiful strong intelligent people who happened to love each other and still managed to mess it all up. Rhett & Scarlett the best love story of all time.
I watched this movie with my husband a few days ago. It was his first time seeing the film, and my 432,600,712th time. He literally wants to watch it everyday. He is so intrigued!!!! Thank you Margaret Mitchell for writing this classic and to Hollywood for bringing my husband and I closer! ❤
@@alcestabyss3305 I know right. My husband can't get enough. Just last night he said "I wonder if they have an edition with extra features on it." He's from Now York and I grew up in Georgia. I have to constantly explain the ways of the old south. Manners, traditions, lexicon. He absolutely loves it!
@@nicoletorrance3786 My family's from NY too. My mother was a big fan of the book and movie. When I was a kid she took me to NYC to see it at Radio City Music Hall (they would periodically run the film there). My first time was seeing it on the big screen at this historical theatre. It's one of the best memories of my life.
Read the book several times and lost the count of how many times I've watched the film. There was a time when I knew almost all the lines ... two beautiful, strong, persevering souls loving each other with passion and against all the rules ... but not at the same time... that is a misfortune
I love Myrna Loy, William Powell, Olivia D' Haviland, Jean Harlow(shes my FAVORITE!) I have probably 300 B&W's .... And somehow I have never seen this movie!!!!! Need to see it!!!

"Frankly my dear I don't give a damn!" The most famous line in movie history from the Best movie ever made, nothing will ever top it!
Possibly the most iconic movie line of all time
M’y favorite scène bas to be Scarlett’s “as God as my witness”
