Hi there! I'm English with a niece who's Dad is Nigerian but doesn't see her much.
She's only in primary school but I have a Modern Language degree and my niece is very quick to understand when I teach her.
When she was a toddler, her Dad did speak Yoruba to her and I think she understands a little bit but
    This channel is so helpful.

the "are you going to fast?" one confused me because the pronoun is missing. but i am impressed that i was able to figure it out from what you taught me
so i think it should be:
    So E Ma Gbawe?
EDIT: i am going to guess that in yoruba the pronoun for the 2nd person can be dropped since the listener can infer it from the fact that you are talking to them.

i can form the sentense. Please, kindly recommend for me. This will help a beginner like me. Thanks again for considering my
