I want to say in terms of changing the genre, I don’t usually like a lot of roms coms, because of the cheese, but also the toxicity. I LOVE that the characters in to all the boys were not toxic at all, even the supporting characters. I’m hoping to see that change in future rom coms, because we need to see healthy relationships, friendships and family dynamics, as well as Lana’s point on diversity, which is absolutely important. It also didn’t come off cheesy I think because of the sincerity of the movie, and that it explored Lara Jeans’s life not just from a romantic aspect. Another change I’m hoping to see. Really love this movie series, melts my heart.
