Yes! I think its a great exercise to learn control. Thank you for watching! I’m going to incorporate them into a lot of my skate sessions from now on. There are sooo many more slalom moves I want to work up to. Let me know if you try them out.
Oh, you’re brave. A backwards slolem exercise. 😅 Well done. Slolems are good for slowing down on mild to moderate hills too (not the big hills!). Slightly loosening your trucks helps too, but a little at a time and see how it feels with a test. Don’t wanna be too loosey goosey.
I don’t know if it’s bravery or insanity sometimes lol. Thanks for the tips! I probably do need to loosen my trucks a tad because I was having to lift my wheels a little more than I wanted to get around the cones. Thanks for watching 🤗
You’re blessed with a beautiful place to practice too. I much prefer outdoors over the rink. The counter-clockwise motion puts stress on my hip. Enjoy your sessions! 🛼🛼
@jeaninejulian2596 now that you mention it, they really should switch up the direction in the rinks sometimes. I’m sure so many others would benefit from it too! Makes me want to own a rink so I can make it happen…
Learning how to do this would give me so much control. I love watching you weave smoother and smoother.
