Be sure to check out Tamara's video here! We didn't compare notes at all and while we have a few in common, most are quite different! th-cam.com/video/Uy4-t7zSEl0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PjIIIj04Sg9M-iCw
I totally remember when I first found your channel and a bunch of individuals used to comment on the state of that mirror 😂. Love that it made the list.
I also can't do without my Tweezermans. As long as they last, it's always good to have multiples. Due to my inability to see close-up, I am also addicted to my magnifying mirror. My husband installed one above the bathroom sink, and I have travel/portable versions. I can't apply makeup without some magnification. FYI -- I got a chuckle hearing you say "moose-tosh."
Loved this video from the tweezers to the wow powder & the cherry on top was the mirror,I thought I was the only one to get a headache from strong magnification although I have to for plucking.I watch a few TH-camr that don’t edit,I realise you probably can’t do that with makeup but they seem more human & have the funny little flaws that we all have & you have that Kiki, your personality shines through . 🇬🇧🇺🇸☃️🐕
Thanks so much Jane - if I didn't edit, you'd see long pauses where I'm trying to remember something, watch me reverse words, get mad at a passing helicopter etc. oh, and drop things. I might have to start a "drop reel" an post that sometime.
I buy my eyebrow pencils in bulk from Etude. The colors for grey hair are really good and I save a lot of money buying them in bulk. I am silver and that is not going to change.
I am 48 and have a bad sight as well. I need my contact lenses to put make up on, otherwise it would take me forever. Sometimes I just put the contact lenses for this purpose and remove them if I want to wear glasses to give my eyes a rest and for styling purposes. Thanks for having a different approach to a question like that, I really enjoyed it 😊.
Hi! I've been using Color Wow Root Cover Up for about two years, but I apply it on my eyebrows. It's great for covering grey hairs. My husband is the one who can't live without this product.😄
I’ve been watching Tamara And throughly enjoying her Kiki I have to say tho … what is most delightful is the mutual support you give one another It’s truly a win win No resentment Or competition but rather a celebration of your individual specialness ! I just love it !! It’s so inspiring 💞💞💞 I just ordered 2 of the sun blocks you recommended I have a great complexion and practice good skin care … always … but I needed your recent reminder So I thank you 💞L xxx Jan 23rd 2024 Rancho Mirage Ca and Manhattan NY
I use both of the first two you show here I love esp the isntree. I never miss a day Then lipliner and buttery lip gloss And on my eyes clear mascara and soft copper eyeliner pencil And that’s it. And that’s enough !!!! WOW KIKI I 💞you
I had a reaction to the Isntree that was like eczema.. I adore the Tula Mineral Magic and also the other Tula one, the chemical one that you also reviewed, which doesn’t bother me at all. I can use it very near my eyes , which really surprised me. Yes to Tula all round and thank you for reviewing them.
It wasn't from prom - I was probably in 4th grade - lol! I just don't know where my photo albums are - I think they are in storage under the stairs which would take an eon to get to!
Tamara’s Timeless Beauty suggested your channel. I had subscribed to your channel early on my skincare journey but was so overwhelmed.. My skin is very improved so now I am ready to concentrate on learning about beauty and makeup. So glad to be back! Cheers❤
Thank you! I haven't really bought any perfume (two things, but that's not enough for a video). I feel I have so much I love already. But...I am going to think about this - maybe I'll talk about my two new ones and what I've been wearing lately!
Hello KiKi. Thank you for listing real things that work. I 100% agree that the pink Beauty Blender is all on its own. I've added some of what you listed to my shopping list, and of course will use your links. I just saw that you have 30k plus subscribers. It's about time, and now it needs to double. ❤ On a different note, I lost my senior dog a few days ago. He died in my arms. I'm only sharing because I know you know what that's like when your dog is your entire family. I'm going back through all your videos because they are comforting - hope that doesn't sound weird. Have a great week.
I'm so so sorry for your loss. I'm tearing up right now. Yes, I know. Many of my viewers know. The pain will fade, but the memories will not. A year and a half later, I still think of Lucy several times a week.
I do love the Cle de Peau blushes, particularly in the fall and winter here in Maine. Still on a hunt for a foundation for my lined and aged combo skin. You had me laughing about the baby blue glasses. Oh, yes, I had those in a cat-eyed version. LOL.
You two are a delight !!!! True friendship is such a rare commodity and I feel yours ! Thank you both for sharing your energy 💞L xxx Jan 21 st 2024 Rancho Mirage , Ca And Manhattan You’re charmingly “all over the place “ 💞L xxx
The only foundation I have ever repurchased is the Il Makiage, which every single youtuber hates. I’ve always been an outlier. I usually give the other foundations away to my sister or mom because I hate them. My bare skin actually looks better. I’m your age.
I have so many things in common with you. Have you tried the Simple Human mirror? I think it's only 5x and I can't do my makeup without it because I also, can't see. I don't like the little one that is 10x though. Also, can't live without my Dyson brush either. Honestly, I've never even used the curling attachments except for the round brush. What else? Redness and hooded eyes. I'm more of a mascara fan than eyeshadow though. Don't get me wrong, I love eyeshadow but mascara is higher on the list for me. Great video collab with Tamara. Very much enjoyed.
So glad you enjoyed it! I did recommend the Simple Human 3x. I have a Simple Human 5x, but it's too much for my eyes. I only use that one once in while if I'm looking for a hair on my face that I can feel but not see!
I have redness on my cheeks. A tint is a joke for me. I can use a tiny bit of foundation versus a lot more of a tint. I have a Chanel version of that brow pencil but happy to see a possible dupe. Do you know of a root powder that’s talc free? I don’t think the talc itch would work for me 😂
hmmm...I don't know of another root powder at all. I'm sure there is a dupe somewhere. I got turned onto this one at my stylists and after he used it on me, I bought it on the spot and don't experience any itching.
@@TheHoodedLid yes otherwise if you pluck them those suckers will turn into a beard like hair. It's like why God. Don't we have enough to deal with. Tamaras video was darling too. Her skin is looking good I forgot to tell her . Have a great week.
Question…I looked up the Canmake skin gel but did not see an spf. Is this sunscreen or do you just use it as a primer? P.S. I currently use the Biore UV Aqua Rich Korean sunscreen and love the texture. Thanks as always! I rely on your recommendations!
@TheHoodedLid thank you , that will be fine for me I am on a bit of a budget with 3 kids so am trying to look for alternatives but with the same ingredients as you recommend also in uk it sometimes hard to get certain ones but certainly checking out the rose water and glycerin xx

I so enjoy both yours and Tamara’s channels☺! Even though different, you both have delightful personalities! Good to see another collab…
Thank you so much! Yes, we really are. I'm far more loopy - lol!
Totally agree with you re Nye eyebrow pencil - no point in buying an expensive brow product when such a good budget product exists.

Here from Tamara's channel. Nice to meet you. I have trouble signing off. I get stuck in the Midwestern goodbye and just keep rambling. Lol.

Oh no! That's the only foundation that they do that I like. Fingers crossed it's just a stocking issue!
Sunscreen have you tried IUNIK Centella sunscreen 50 its Japanese. I’m almost exclusively buying European or Japanese skincare.
I haven't tried that one - will look into it!

@@TheHoodedLid I’ll have to do a search! Maybe someone will reply here :) I itch because I have a talc allergy :)
😂 oh Kiki my cousin Diane and I call those chin hairs catfish whiskers. They started about 4 months ago so I go to electrolysis.
That's probably the best way to do it. I do have one of those at home machines and didn't even think about trying that!

Question…I looked up the Canmake skin gel but did not see an spf. Is this sunscreen or do you just use it as a primer? P.S. I currently use the Biore UV Aqua Rich Korean sunscreen and love the texture. Thanks as always! I rely on your recommendations!
It's a 50 SPF. It smells like vanilla and sets up pretty fast, tho it does leave the face shiny, so powder is needed.
Could you recommend an hydrating spray I know u said the kosas but I don't think it's easy to get in uk and it's quite expensive x
On Amazon, try Rosewater & Gylcerin spray - I think it's made by a company called Heritage. No bells and whistles for this one, but it is hydrating.
@TheHoodedLid thank you , that will be fine for me I am on a bit of a budget with 3 kids so am trying to look for alternatives but with the same ingredients as you recommend also in uk it sometimes hard to get certain ones but certainly checking out the rose water and glycerin xx
Do you have pm routine your latest, watched your am you posted 3 months ago but was looking for your pm xx
I'm trying out a new product in the evenings and when I've completed 3 full months will do my pm video!
@TheHoodedLid thank you , you have lovely glowy skin so am going to use essences to see if it will help my skin 😉
