Glad I found your adventures..! Did the Kimberly last year, getting off the beaten track some.. Will be back..!! You guys bring back memories of living on the Pascoe river (Cape York) with my young kids and all the adventures had..! Love life, play hard..!! :)
Hey buddy, just found your channel yesterday. I did the same thing but on the east coast of Aus with my kids, from 2008-2012. Was a single dad for 14 years until the lads got on there own2 feet. These videos are bringing back a lot of fond memories. I had never sailed before either, was told all types of negative things as to why I shouldn’t do it. Proved them all wrong. As will you.
Wow that’s awesome mate, I wasn’t sure anyone else had done it! But yeah people love to talk about why you shouldn’t do something they can’t do haha helps to soothe the salt in their wounds. Shoot me a message on instagram if you get a chance
Okay as a mum of a young one I’m so keen to know the boring details - what do you all usually eat in a day, how often do you get supplies, how do you wash yourselves and your laundry. The boring logistics are so interesting to me. Can we get a video on this 😂😅
Good onya mate!! I grew up barefoot in Arnhem Land and the Central Desert area (teacher parents) and experienced similar to what your great kids are doing. In years to come they will have forgotten what they know, but out in the bush, it'll all come back to them. And you're correct, in years to come they'll appreciate how unique and special their lives are. Great video! Respect. (Darwin local).
Thanks mate! Yeah absolutely I think a lot of people struggle to wrap their heads around it, but once you get outside the city there’s a whole other way of life, it looks dangerous or unsafe but it’s real life and what it’s supposed to be like. Not kids sitting indoors glued to a screen. That’s awesome you grew up out there, hopefully we’ll end up checking it out later in the year!
I'm really excited to find your latest episode and that you and your girls are back on board. What an awesome job you are doing. Hope there are more episodes to come.
Catfish is fine dining , is what it is as kids fishing remote billabongs . . caught an old one massive Marrakie plains holes . . off of Adelaide river upstream
An amazing trek, with a bit of a dramatic ending. What a terrain in the canyon: endless waterfalls and pools with patches of tropical trees. Those jungle creeks are fascinating and fun as always. Sure was an arduous hike! The cliff face did seem dangerous at a couple points. Halle saved the day by coming through so well. Isla held up well, also.
Haha oh hey guys! Have you headed east yet? Sorry I didn’t get a chance to stop in before I left the marina it’s been absolutely hectic getting this boat sorted haha
Giday, I know I keep on about the kids safety, but please make them wear their lifejackets in the tinny and maybe something on their feet. Great lifestyle for the kids to grow up in, be safe.🇦🇺👍😜I bet the flys are huge😲
Great watch. Your girls could well be the first white kids to walk that area, who knows but what an experience all the same mate! What lucky girls to have a great dad.
Thanks for watching everyone I hope you enjoy!
