What is the timeline of the Misery comics though? Do they take place during the Venom, Carnage and Red Goblin comics or before? Because Toxin is among the symbiotes that make up Madness but Toxin is still bonded to Bren in the Venom comics so maybe it's an offshoot of Toxin.
I have been a fan of Venom and the Symbiotes sense I first saw the big man himself Venom in Spiderman the animated series. Venom is by far my fav with Carnage being a close second. But I also enjoyed the Life Foundation characters of Lasher, Riot, Scream, and Phange, Envy not so much. But anytime I get the chance to play as Venom suit Spiderman it's always a good day.

I thought Venom was really cool and original, Carnage only really became cool to me later in life as I originally thought they were over-playing it with him. I can't believe they churned out so many over the years.

Venom is a villain who became popular; the only way to maintain a coherent ongoing series is to make him a hero (see how Carnage has had a number of short runs, but how each one illustrates the near-impossibility of maintaining an unsympathetic main character). The more wedded the comics became to Venom as a hero or anti-hero, the more ridiculous they frequently became, best epitomised by him craving chocolate instead of brains. The only worthwhile solo run of Venom is by Rick Remender, where Flash is a troubled hero, and the symbiote is never too far from turning on or abandoning him.
Even though he’s among the weaker symbiotes, Lasher is probably my favourite in terms of appearance. He’s visually distinct from other symbiotes due to his lack of a fanged maw, and he has a leaner physique along with green colouration and visible back tendrils. He’s basically like a green symbiote suit spider-man.
Honestly I would really want to see Toxin in a live-action movie, there’s just something about Toxin that I really love about.. He’s just so intriguing. Imagine seeing a live-action Toxin working alongside Venom..
I think Toxin will be there in Venom 3 as they set him up in Venom 2 but I hope they do his character justice since it’s hard to predict what these directors do with the character

I thought the symbiote learns from every host, not just their last one. I read somewhere that Venom had bonded with Deadpool before spiderman as well, which made him reckless.
Scorn seems quite cool - ability wise, being able to manipulate technology while being a symbiote would be OP in the modern world. It’s easy to favour the most OP character in terms of strength so it’s nice to see these sorts of niche abilities. I hope they introduce more symbiotes in the MCU.

Sleeper is my favorite and I'm kind of bummed that he didnt get a full explanation. They call him sleeper, not only because of the sleeping toxic he emits, but because his host body is a corpse. He bonded with "Tel-Kar", a kree mercenary who was trying to kill Venom/Eddie and lobotomized him by sending a spike straight through his forehead. Sleeper then "kept" the body as its host and uses the "sleeper" inside instead of being amorphous on his own.
Deadpool was bonded to Venom before Spider-Man. They separated right before Peter encountered Venom and then rebonded with Wade shortly after separating from Peter then they separated in the church and it bonded with Eddie.
Some are a bit "too much" but Scorn would be an insanely fun character for a videogame. Lot's of organic/technologic upgrade to your arsenal. A spin off of the current Spider-man games from Insomniac would be really fun.
I honestly liked the way the Venom trilogy depicted Venom. They gave him personality, Eddie Brock wasn't blaming spiderman for his failures, and it honestly gave venom are more interesting story in my opinion.

I have to say I never read Venom comics, merely watched the first movie, but Scream (Silence) is one of my favourite characters in Marvel Future Fight. I think she was the first character that I bulit up since I liked her berserk abilities and wrath. It's not that important here but she can deal a lot of damage in short periods of time. The only problem is she doesn't really have regenerative ability. But yeah, Scream is awesooome.
You forgot to mention Agent anti venom which is a different entity than Anti venom as it was made when a small piece of venom that was stuck on Flash fell into a vat of chemicals that could affect venom and burn it this bit of venom bonded to Flash it is essentially the exact same as Agent Venom in terms of power but it has an affect of burning any symbiote that had any sort of DNA connection to Venom though I believe it differs on how badly it’ll burn as with Venom it causes serious burns that force the symbiote away while Carnage can with stand it for a short amount of time

I don't know if it's part of the comic book lore but maybe the writing is suggesting that color is an indication of danger and strength with the symbiotes. They also treat the symbiotes like some alien life. Riot is said to be one of the strongest, if not the strongest, out of Venom's brethren. There's also hints at symbiotes needing the right host to draw out their full potential.
I think the color probably has something to do with the hosts personality type or hostility. Since venom has culminated so many different hosts he is “all” of the personality colors or black. While carnage probably only has rage and sadism making him much more aggressive and less reasonable.
The color shows what system the Symbiote has bonded to. Black means it has bonded to the nervous system, red means it has bonded to the vascular system. Vascular symbiotes have greater strength, speed, and malleability while nervous symbiotes can bond with their hosts on a neurotic level, increasing the cooperation of the symbiote and the host.
Most things that you seem to say about different symbiotes appear to me to be things that all symbiotes already are able to do as basics rather than abilities that are specific to the articular symbiote that you are talking about for instance you only said that some symbiotes had claws or being able to cling to surfaces like walls but actually all of them have those abilities and are basic parts of the symbiotes

It's commonly known that None of the Symbiote's are physically stronger than spider-man. Spider-man 99.99999% of the time is holding back due his desire to not hurt anyone. he never fights at full strength, the few times we did see him fight at full power in the comics, he ended the fight in one punch.. Example when he broke in the prison just to fuck up Kingpin. Kingpin was utterly helpless.
Untrue. Almost every symbiote is stronger, it’s said over and over. Spider-Man holds back with human foes in order not to kill them, but he certainly was holding back when fighting for his life against venom or Morlun

Apparently he was a member of a race who abandoned him to rot on that planetoid. The shuttle crew was recovered, but Lt. Tasha Yar was killed by the creature and marks the first time a Star Trek character on TV was killed off, completely.

Scorn is dead. She certainly could’ve been used, sparingly, for far longer. Beyond Flash and Eddie, IMO she’s the best-written individual.

You kinda missed the fact the Deadpool bonded with Venom for a while which led to one of the reasons venoms mental state was altered before he returned it to its holding cell right before Spiderman first bonded with it in secret wars but its fine

15:28 You can tell whoever wrote this story line had no clue about how the United States military works because the United States Army would not be able to assemble a team of numbers from different branches. The United States Army can only assemble a team of soldiers from the United States Army They have no control over personnel from other branches. It would have to go through JSOC or joint special operations command. They can assemble a team of multiple operators from multiple branches.

Something like Anti-Venom would be so useful irl, mostly because it has no sentience, one can shape it into any form they'd like.

It's commonly known that None of the Symbiote's are physically stronger than spider-man. Spider-man 99.99999% of the time is holding back due his desire to not hurt anyone. he never fights at full strength, the few times we did see him fight at full power in the comics, he ended the fight in one punch.. Example when he broke in the prison just to fuck up Kingpin. Kingpin was utterly helpless.
Untrue. Almost every symbiote is stronger, it’s said over and over.
Spider-Man holds back with human foes in order not to kill them, but he certainly was holding back when fighting for his life against venom or Morlun

Star Trek The Next Generation (S1 EP. 23 "The Skin of Evil" ) had a symbiote of its own. Called Argos, he was marooned on a M Class world and held a crashed shuttle crew hostage. Apparently he was a member of a race who abandoned him to rot on that planetoid. The shuttle crew was recovered, but Lt. Tasha Yar was killed by the creature and marks the first time a Star Trek character on TV was killed off, completely.

I’ve heard of Venom 2099 in LEGO Marvel: Super Heroes 2 for the PS4, or more accurately, he’s an unlockable playable character.
I don’t know if it counts but in Lego marvel superheroes 2 they’re is a symbiote called Carnom which is a mixture of venom and carnage
