I love it. My cousin had one when we were teenagers. He used to pick me up for school in it, and we would ride around the town square in it on Friday nights. We called it the "Supernova" he bought the car for 100 bucks and spent 500 on some old cragar rims for it. I miss that car. Good times.
We were visiting my Grandparents and Uncles and Aunts in Houston late 60's,,,,,my Uncle went and bought a used nova,,,,,,,,he got Home and was so proud of the Car and Deal he got. My Dad was a Prankster,,,,he had bought a bunch of Fire works and Smoke Bombs,,,,,,,when my Uncle went in the House Dad put a shitload of Smoke Bombs under the hood,,, i will never forget my poor Uncles face when he ran out and saw his new car smoking like Cheech and Chong,,,,,its was Great !!!!

This old 64 Nova douse is something to see after all these years. For she is truly old stock and thing of the past. For my brother and I built little hot rod out of a 6 230 ci with 500 cfm holly crab that would turn 13 sec though the 1.4 mile, for what this car has in it today. Many memories and I love this old Chevy 2.

You might not be old enough to remember FM converters but that car has an old radio shack one, I got mine at Kmart back in 1981. The way they worked is they had leads to hook up to a power supply and they had a jack for the antenna cable and an antenna cable coming out of it. You had to plug the antenna cable into the FM converter and plug the cable from the converter back into the AM radio and tune the radio to 1610 kHz to listen to FM through the AM radio. If the FM converter is broken then the AM radio will not work until you remove the FM converter and plug the antenna cable back into the AM radio.
I had a 64 Nova 4 door bought in 1969 for 400.00 from a truck driver friend of mine cream color 194 six cylinder 3 speed stick shift gave it a tune up had the heater core rebuilt great little car

Steve McQueen had the Bullet, but grandpa had the bullet proof. That color I believe Chevy had one called a limelight green and you mix that with a little gold powder metallic flake and you got one gorgeous nova. Love a Chevy and love Maple Motor's Monday.
Mine was a muddy tan color & drove like a tank. What MEMORIES, always had Nova's in the family.
That car is Screaming for a V8 😎
I would use it as a daily driver...very dependable car. No check engine light crap.

My first car was a 1962 Chevy 2. No nova badge for 62. 2 door post,194 Straight 6 120 hp 3 on the tree. I would kill to have it back. This was in 1987. Paid 1700 with only 32 thousand miles on her. Paint was Cadillac gun metal grey and krager wire basket rims. Tuck and roll seat covers. Stewart Warner guages and a custom steering wheel.

I always wanted 2 dr ….but, let’s be honest, we all rode around in 4 doors when we were coming up…..I’d be ok with a 4 door hot rod these days, 4 doors cost way less and gives room to bring the kids and the family pup on a ride.
That Nova II is in really nice condition and there's even the original booklet in the glove compartment. I see what appears to be two radios, maybe the one under the dash is a stereo one. The interior looks excellent.

Crazy to think 1982 at the age 17 just got my license and looking for a car and I had a chance to buy a 63 2 door nova and I turned it down well that’s life.

I had Hi hopes about this Nova until seeing inside the Trunk and both quarters were replaced ? And then the bottom of the inside door panels it might have been a flood car? Would make a good daily driver To bad they lowered it

You know i have a 64 chevy 2 also, and for a while i could only fill my tank up about 9 gallons then it would over flow just recently i went up to 13, i dont know if thats a common problem with them and the gas
