RIP Scott, heard the news today, came straight back here... One of the first times I heard this band. My favourite band of all time, their music really touched me. Fucking terrible shame what's happened. Rest easy Scott, you changed my outlook mate.
This. This is how I found out. I was so excited to find this version. Now I'm devastated. I've been out of the loop for a couple months. This is the saddest a youtube comment has ever made me.
I hate that we all saw it coming but just couldn't do anything about it. I just wish I could have met him and talked to him. Really miss him lately.

Never have I felt a song so deeply. As a functioning alcoholic and someone who has been depressed for over a decade, I feel these lyrics in my bones. My daughter is the only one keeping me here, so I know how Scott felt when he wrote these lyrics...
I dont have anyone to talk to about my issues but I hope people reach out to their friends and family if they know they are struggling, Depression is a demon thats very hard to deal with. Love your loved ones...please..

Scott needed help. No one did a darn thing. Especially the record label and their associates. RIP Scott. Condolences to the family.

Look up the 'alternate' version. The intro is Pretty Vacant. You can sort of hear it here but it's not as clear.
