Yeah this is the total and complete opposite of me lol. I'm a Leo Ascendant and Ive always been extremely introverted. Extremely shy, very low self confidence from a very young age (my mother said she first started noticing my shyness and anxiety to the extent that it now is around 4 years old). I absolutely hate being a leader in any sort of situation because I despise having all eyes on me. If I'm the center of attention I shut down VERY quickly. Even thinking about being the center of attention in any social situation triggers my intense social anxiety. I cannot for the life of me look people in the eyes when I talk to them. This even includes my family members. So, astrology has pretty much lost all credibility for me unless there's something I'm not getting here. Maybe there's a reason for this that I'm not aware of? Something to do with houses and relations to planets? I'm not sure. I'd have to get a reading from a professional to explain why I'm the total opposite from the usual Leo Ascendant description because it does not resonate with me in the slightest. Really, the only sign I've come across that actually describes me very well is my moon sign which is Pisces. THAT one describes me to a tee. So maybe there's a reason I identify with my moon sign far more than any of my other signs that I'm just not aware of yet? Alas, I'll probably never know. How accurate is the hour and minute of your birth? Might be that you have Virgo Rising, what is the next sign (or Cancer which is the previous)and the difference can be just a few minutes! You can get the exact birth time "corrected" based on major life events (like marriage or divorce, childbirth, etc.) by a good astrologer.
Well, this was a MAJOR plot twist for me. I'm coming from the tropical astrology practice after many years and trying out the Vedic/sidereal for the first time because my tropical Capricorn moon has always been a bit of an iffy point of contention for me. I am a hard worker, but I always felt it wasn't a complete fit. I thought my tropical Virgo rising was the reason for my quiet public face, but now hearing that Leo Risings are like in the Vedic interpretation has really given me something to think about. Yeah this is the total and complete opposite of me lol. I'm a Leo Ascendant and Ive always been extremely introverted. Extremely shy, very low self confidence from a very young age (my mother said she first started noticing my shyness and anxiety to the extent that it now is around 4 years old). I absolutely hate being a leader in any sort of situation because I despise having all eyes on me. If I'm the center of attention I shut down VERY quickly. Even thinking about being the center of attention in any social situation triggers my intense social anxiety. I cannot for the life of me look people in the eyes when I talk to them. This even includes my family members. So, astrology has pretty much lost all credibility for me unless there's something I'm not getting here. Maybe there's a reason for this that I'm not aware of? Something to do with houses and relations to planets? I'm not sure. I'd have to get a reading from a professional to explain why I'm the total opposite from the usual Leo Ascendant description because it does not resonate with me in the slightest. Really, the only sign I've come across that actually describes me very well is my moon sign which is Pisces. THAT one describes me to a tee. So maybe there's a reason I identify with my moon sign far more than any of my other signs that I'm just not aware of yet? Alas, I'll probably never know. Still fun to read and learn about this stuff though!

How accurate is the hour and minute of your birth? Might be that you have Virgo Rising, what is the next sign (or Cancer which is the previous)and the difference can be just a few minutes! You can get the exact birth time "corrected" based on major life events (like marriage or divorce, childbirth, etc.) by a good astrologer.

Well, this was a MAJOR plot twist for me. I'm coming from the tropical astrology practice after many years and trying out the Vedic/sidereal for the first time because my tropical Capricorn moon has always been a bit of an iffy point of contention for me. I am a hard worker, but I always felt it wasn't a complete fit. I thought my tropical Virgo rising was the reason for my quiet public face, but now hearing that Leo Risings are like in the Vedic interpretation has really given me something to think about. Very interesting...
