I heard one mono recording back along where they'd been able to take the sound of each instrument and put it into stereo, with all the crackling and interference removed. On headphones it was like you were really there and sounded as if it had just been recorded yesterday
@@splinterbyrd Stem splitting is a wonderful thing, I've done it before with varying results but if you use a paid service they're usually insanely accurate.
Hats off to The 79 Prof.! It's a real treat to hear this classic cleaned up and as vibrant as it was when new. This ditty was written and recorded before the Great Depression, which gives later generations some insight into the national culture during the Roaring Twenties, the period immediately after World War I. Thank you for your preservation efforts.
@@the78prof72 I grew up playing my parents' collection of old 78 rpm records. They all had annoying pops, crackles, skips, and scratches. It takes a lot of time and effort to get a 1927 recording to sound as good as this one, and I wanted you to know how much your hard work is appreciated.
First heard this in Looney Toons when I was younger. The tune just popped back up in my head and has stayed up there for a few days. Finally found the name of the song. Great music :)
