- Explore the vast beauty of the Imperial Sand Dunes, California's largest expanse of sand dunes stretching over 40 miles in length and five miles in width. A popular destination for RV enthusiasts, these dunes come alive in the winter as visitors park their RVs and take to the sands in dune buggies, experiencing thrilling rides over the undulating landscape. Join us as we also venture to the nearby 5 Palms Hot Springs, a hidden oasis amidst the desert sands.

I've lived in Yuma for almost four years, and the dunes are still pretty cool to drive by. There's some great photo shots I wanna get of the dunes and All American Canal to show the stark contrast of the desert.
Always look forward to ur stuff - thank you.
Great video, you have a good voice. 👍
fun fact: star wars return of the jedi was filmed here during the sand pit scene
truely incredible
Thanks, Love your work!
Nice footy great work
Great video. What kind of vehicles can go into the dunes? SUV's?
Off Road Park , you can also drive grandmas Chrysler
Not recommend in the depth of the dunes, sand rails, high power atvs and utvs are the norm, but you do see some suvs and trucks with knowledgeable drivers behind the wheel, look up Glamis and you will see so e examples ;) Ps you can rent these vehicles!
Is there anywhere to rent sandboards out there? I'm having trouble finding anything.
Do you need to pay any fee?
Permits are required from October 1 through April 15 each year. Permits are $35 per week in advance and $50 per week if purchased onsite. Season permits are $150.
@@Desertusa are you aware of how much it cost for a single entrancing? I’m hoping to stop by just once tomorrow on my way to Arizona.
@@bobcosb21 They just told you the price. Reread their post if you missed it.
