      Thanks for watching my friend! Yeah she is very stable at speed. It's fun making things go fast that really shouldn't. It's a buggy and an old desighn from 1991. 114Kph pr 71Mph ain't bad. I know it could go much faster of I could mod the gearbox to take a big pinion. 😄

I think it can go faster. The sad thing is there is no way to get a larger pinion in there so that's that. I bet this thing could do 100mph with gearing...lol.

That's why I have both kinds of cars. New and old. I have a few Tamiya's I run sort of hard but for the most part I'm easy on them. The Arrma's are the ones that get punished...lol. I kind of like the Vanquish/VQS. To me the Tamiya's are about the 1980's nostalgia. I like the Vanquish better in my opinion than the EVO. You need a driver in a Tamiya...lol. I notice you crawl. I was thinking to get a crawler, I used to build offroad trucks and go 4x4ing. I had a Suzuki Samurai on 33" tires and a Suzuki Sidekick later with 33's. Thos elittle rigs went everywhere the jeeps did and more especially the Samurai because it was narrow. I'm looking at the Axial SCT10 ii 1955 Ford F100 as a first crawler. But can I go slow? Keep the rear ball diff tight. Also use crazy glue to glue the rear diff input shafts that go into the rear diff. They tend to strip under high power. Other than that I ran the stock setup steering wise and just added the beefier electronics and street tires. This car is much tougher than I thought it would be. I still have one new in the box for later. It will probably be a shelf queen for my collection though. I have a lot of bashers already.

    Aren't you trying to be like Stewart Mac and get a Tamiya to do more then 120 miles an hour?

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah to a point. I reached 97Mph with a Tamiya so far...my goal was 100Mph for a Tamiya. It's hard once you get that fast to squeeze more speed out. Aerodynamics really help at this speed. I like to bash my Arrmas as well. I like all disciplines of RC cars really.

      @@frogelpe9871 Yeah Tamiya had their heyday in the 1980's and I was right there enjoying it with them. My Slash 4x4 does 132Mph and my Arrma Felony does 119Mph but I still have a soft spot for building a Tamiya kit..lol. Childhood memories. My Tamiya TT02 does 97Mph currently. What cars do you like?

      @@KaizerTest I personally got a soft spot for xray's lineup. I started out about 8 years ago with a 1/10 truggy called "rockhard 2" by a company named "reely" wich is basically a branch company of a big tech retailer here in germany. This rc vehicle was actually pretty bad, it rattled even at low speeds (22mph/35kmh) and parts of it broke very frequently (2 diffs within one month). As my second car I got an xray t2. I ran it at around 70km/h (around 45mph) before turning it into a drifter. Never had any problems with it, the only thing that broke over the 4 years of use were some bearings. It is also a lot easier to repair than my previous one. Now I plan on buying an xray xb8e for getting into bashing again. Need to buy a used one though, they're pretty expensive

      Yes maybe. I got hit in the ankle at 80mph. But I was wearing High top sneakers and Idid a side flip to avoid the full hit. It's in my TT02 97mph vid.
