I was into Volkswagen's when I was young. I had the Corrado SLC VR 6 And then I had a golf VR6. Love the engine in them.
Dude 1/8 GT cars are geared to run 2400-2800KV motors. So it is not an upgrade to put the correct kv motor into the serpent. Best of luck.
Got a question on starter box. I have only run 1/8 nitro buggy. But plan on getting the Serpent GT on road. Can I run the protek sure starter box for on road nitro?
Not really sure I never used protek
Did you ever tried changing the pinion on the stock electronics first before upgrading to a whole new system?
I did still slow As dirt lol
