What started as a simple low risk severe weather day escalated into multiple tornado warned storms across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We first intercept the cell crossing north of Rockford IL moving north towards Beloit WI.
A second cell follows and we sit near the town of Shopiere WI (west of Clinton) where we record a timelapse of the base as it heads on by. Now, on the way back we record a rainbow near Poplar Grove IL and then make the move on a high precip tornado warned storm just south of our hometown of Marengo IL. We track that cell thru Huntley IL being on the heals of rain wrapped rfd behind the core.
