    Is this trek safe enough to take female friends also? Will the RPF personnel create any problems? Please reply bro.

    • @NomadicHarish
      @NomadicHarish  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This treking is safe for females also.. rarely RPF personnels blocks you from trekking through railway track.. but that is usually in heavy monsoon time. Its depends on luck..

    Planning to go on friday from chennai through mas vasco da gama express, so where we need to get down, and also we heard that trek is banned for now. what is the best way we can go to dudhsagar and return back on time

    • @NomadicHarish
      @NomadicHarish  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can get down at castle rock and need to trek around 15 km to reach the waterfalls.. on return you can try trekking to kulem so that you can view the famous doodhsagar distant view. You can catch return trains from kulem also..

    Hi harish bro... Planning to start from bangalore so which station me need to get down to reach dudsagar

    • @NomadicHarish
      @NomadicHarish  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Better catch Amaravathi express from Madgoan station.. it has a unscheduled 2 mits stop at sonalim which is just 3km away from dudhsagar.. otherwise you need to get down at kulem station and trek 11 km to dudhsagar falls.
      On return you will get train only from kulem station.. sometimes you may get lift by some goods train or train engine from sonalim on return. But thatz not sure. So you may need to trek 11 km from dudhsagar to kulem to catch next train on return.

      But this waterfalls is not easy to access and lots of people are not aware of such beautiful falls. To see this waterfalls you have to trek long distance or go for a offroad jeep safari.. 😊

      CAN YOU GET PERMISSION FOR GO TO FALL

    • @NomadicHarish
      @NomadicHarish  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi vishal... Pre approved permission is not required in dudhsagar. If you are planning to take jeep safari then either you can book your tickets online and directly take your ticket from kulem. These jeep safaris are organised by the Goa Forest Department. They take you to the bottom of the waterfalls through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary.
      Or if you are planning to trek to dudhsagar then you can start from kulem railway station and walk through railway track.. for that too no permission is needed. but pls keep in mind that it is officially banned trek so sometimes railway police will block you.. especially during heavy mansoon season.

    • @vishaljd9894
      @vishaljd9894 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I want to trek on Rail tracks so i ask you how you go there and can you take permission or not and how you return back
      Please explain it
      Because we made plan for dudhsagar..

    • @NomadicHarish
      @NomadicHarish  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For treking through railway track, no need of permission. We started from madgoan and catched Amaravati express to kulem. It has a unscheduled 2 minutes stop at sonalim ( a stop after kulem and 3 km from dudhsagar falls). So we jumped from train at sonalim when it stoped. Then we walked through railway track to dudhsagar falls.
      On our return we trekked through same railway track to kulem which has around 12km of trekking..
      Pls keep in mind sometimes railway police will restrict to trek through railway track. Especially during heavy rain time.
      No official permission is available for railway track trekking
