Hi Alec , a very helpful video. Brought the Nilfisk extreme about 6 years ago probably 3 years later in New Zealand it was confirmed , after much calling around, they no longer supply the dustbags. Found a replacement and it is the same you show which is not the original and the fit is not rigid therefore not 100 sucking pressure. Annoying to say at the least. Not a cheap machine so I refuse to just buy another one. I really wish trade suppliers and companies thought ahead and planned their marketing effectively, instead of quick turn arounds sthat benefit their own profits. Anyhow s… thank you for just having the smarts and curtesy to help others in need. Hopefully I can find the original bags with the rigid black flap instead of flimsy cardboard, ironically these are more expensive than the originals - but poorer quality. 😊
Thank you so much. Really helpfull I have a Nilfisk x200 and with your explanations I can change the hepa filter and clean the inside of the machine. Regards from Spain.
Very good video. Sad that there are people out there with absolutely no grasp of the obvious. Now I know why these clueless morons who were brought up in pig styes give quality products like the Nilfisk Extreme bad reviews. The idiot who brought this machine in for repairs thought those clogged up filters was normal and the motor should function at its peak regardless. I’ve had a Nilfisk Extreme 300 for over 10 years. Looks and performs like new. I use quality bags and replace them before they burst at the seams and regularly replace the first filter. I check the HEPA filter regularly but after 10 years it’s still snow white clean. They’re a great machine.
Has the Nilfisk Extreme the same 'bag holder bracket' like the King or is there just a groove? the bag holder on my king is broken, no spares available, so i would like to take this part from the extreme
mine (king 500) has yet another filter that seems to be made of very hard material. it is deep inside, kind of above the motor facing the bag. what's the story with that one?

Probably one of the best vacuums Ive ever had.
Bought it second-hand 3 years ago for 20 bucks. Suction is amazing. A real workout on the arms.😅
