I managed to save the money until November when it was my father's unveiling and that money really came through 😭💃🏽🥳 ngiyabonga Mzwandile and Siza with this challenge! 🥺❤️ I'm definitely doing it again next year but I'll start from the back as well 🙌🏽
Me and my husband only managed to save 15K together it started dwindling down beginning of October because we were getting married in November. It was really awesome, were doing it again next year.
I did the R10 one. I have a few tips that worked for me. I used a Puresave account on Standard bank ( which made it easier to transfer the money). I also have a recurring alarm every Friday to remind me to put in the week’s money
This challenge helped me to pay up my tuition fees in November.Definately doing it again next year,starting big also because yeyyyyii by September I was breathing through the wound
Siza this thing is not easy my sister 😩😩😩😩 I only made R6,000 in 2021!! That year was tough for me.in 2020 I made R80,000. kodwake this year God is good ngizolwa i promise 🤞🏾🤞🏾❤️ I'm ready
I saved from February till November and yeyi bekunzima because I sometimes ate the money shym and did not replace it. I'm proud of my self because be ndiqala so next year I won't eat the money.
Also managed to save this year for the first time in my life as unemployed as I am 😭😭 I’m so proud of myself that money came through for me so much this December… if you’re unemployed don’t be discouraged you can also do it but don’t put yourself in an impossible situation
@@madampraises4450 it’s all in the mind sweety! You can do whatever you put your mind to… I’d put aside R20,R50 whenever my parents send me to the stores, lunch dates? going out? I don’t know them , I cut down on fancy hairstyles and nails but I didn’t let myself go I still did affordable protective styles and maintained a healthy lifestyle. The minute you focus on your circumstances is when you get discouraged but when you see your circumstances and believe n have faith that you can get out of them is when you start winning. I’m nowhere near where I’d like to be I’m still unemployed but I’m focusing on how can I use my time now to get to where I want to in the future…

That is so great and inspiring. What might help is using those big piggy bank tins because then your money isn't easily accessible cause you'd have to damage the tin to get the money and also you can't see the money which can be tempting especially when the going starts to get rough.
Last year I saved through stokvel and managed to get 50k end of the year, this year I was planning to quit coz I don’t have 5k to save monthly so this challenge will defs help me.

I did 2 savings challenges and they really helped to build my emergency fund , the one which I struggled with was the R300 increment one by month 8 the contribution was a lot for me so I continued contribution the average of R1500 till December

I tried saving R1 a day but failed even though I managed to invest in easy equities. This year the plan is to save 10% of my income in a Tyme bank account ,R150 monthly into crypto then the rest of my savings into easy equities. Will make an emergency fund with my NSFAS book allowance though
Week 1 save R10 Week 2 save R20 Week 3 save R30 Week 4 save R40 At the end of a 4 Week month you should have saved R100. If the month is 5 weeks you will save R50 on Week 5 and have R150 at the end of the month. Week 6 R60 Week 7 R70 etc...
