WOOF WOOF! 🐶
I would love the chuck Dixon runs in omnibus. Also, a 52 nightwing reprint, and the current Taylor run in omnibus. Def grew into one of my fav DC characters. Great vid!
I needed this video. Batman is my favourite character but haven't dabbled too much into the sidekicks/spinoffs yet. There's just so many. Cheers Marcus🙃
First who can tell he is a nightwing fan. Second after this you should do a batgirl/batwomen top ten comics for beginners. Also amazing video as always
the 80s Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans was excellent. great art, higher stakes and it allowed the characters to grow. I was very happy when it premiered . There's not a lot of alternate Earth stuff in it so modern readers would be able to read without confusion.
I'm not sure what to read next. I read Year one, Man who laughs, Tim Sale Jeph Lobe omni, Venom, and I though I would read Death in the family before getting into Knightfall, Nightwing, No mans land but something is wrong. I'll be missing a big chunk of Grayson as Robin and gething right into the 2nd Robin getting killed. I was hoping to find more dynamic duo books with Grayson but it seems like that Teen Titans book you recommend is the only book in print that fits the time-line. Can you think of anything?
I grew up on the Chuck Dixon runs of tim drakes robin & Nightwing (+batman no mans land & birds of prey). I can say they are great starting points. But it is also worth noting that Dixon is a very conservative, right-wing leaning person, and while i ignore him in the real world, looking back on his work as an adult, those political viewpoints do seep into his work, sometimes putting harmful ideologies in the mouths of heroes. Absolutely read those runs, dont let that stop you, but be aware there are flaws. Tom Taylor's Nightwing is a great jumping on point, and any comics for Tim (1993 Robin run, 2022 Robin run, Red Robin) except ones from 2011-2015 (New 52 did Tim dirty - they stuck his name on a character with a completely different, worse personality & undermined his whole backstory. )

Robin by Chuck Dixon is crying out to be fully collected. Read some and really so so good.🙂
Theyre releasing a compendium doing just that later this year
Chuck Dixon and Devin Grayson's run on Nightwing is very good, i really want an omnibuses of the first 100 issues and like the one shots and minis
Yeah, I am tempted to settle for the compendium due out this year, but an omnibus would be ideal 😍 thanks for watching the video mate 🐶

The legend is back!
You should do a teen titans for beginning. I read a couple of teen titans issues but I have never dived in. That is if you have time.

I have most of the books but I love watching just to see if we have the same taste or if there is anything I have missed.
Great video as always! Can you do a recommendations video on Green Arrow or Black Canary next?
Been waiting for this one 🙌
You aren’t alone! I also enjoyed dark victory more than long Halloween (which I also loved of course)

Another great video. Always loved Nightwing and glad to get more choices to get into the character.
Great video mate ❤
Hey Mad dog I'd love if you did one of these for Ghostrider
I have the first 2 volumes of Grayson, is is worth just getting the omnibus or keep searching for the rest of the volumes

Thanks I’m making a short film and this really helped
How do you like the recent Mark Waid mini series Batman vs Robin?
Also yay super sons with Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his little 10 year old self and Damian Wayne robin teaming up to save the day.
Amazing video
