Good information. One can even take it a step further: should you adopt a foreign child? Also that answer depends very much of the circumstances. I've seen enough documentaries about the heartbroken families giving beloved children up for adoption because of poverty. Now if we can do something about the poverty, we do not separate that family. Did you know that very many adoptive children develop psychiatric symptoms because of the trauma they went through? If that trauma can be prevented, I'd much rather see people sponser 10 families, who thus can stay together, than ripping 1 apart, all because they want to have a child. Adoption can be more about fulfilling our own wishes, than accomodating any true needs. Which is a great shame! That said, there are of course many cases of children who really have no family to go back to, for instance because of alcoholism or severe neglect (not out of poverty). Those can be helped by adoption. Although I think it would be a lot more cost effective and kind if we then found adoptive parents out of their own community. Wouldn't it be great if we could sponsor local Christians with a big heart for children in need to become their new parents? Truth stays: wherever money is involved, corruption is involved as well. We've got to monitor such systems closely.
@@jerryyoung6494 I don't agree with you. Children have much better opportunities in their lives if they are adopted in a much better society! Later in life, if they succeed, they can also help the country of their origin.
@@drzavahercegbosnaponosna5974 you don’t agree with me when I asked him if he watched the video? A question I asked 3 years ago? I honestly don’t remember the content of the video!
@@drzavahercegbosnaponosna5974 I rewatched the video and we definitely disagree. The topic of the video was parents putting their kids into an orphanage scam for MONEY! The answer to poverty in third world countries is not to have all their children to be adopted out to the west (mostly US) to then send money back as they make money! How sad. We can help them through Christ to have salvation first of all, then a loving family with their children then to help educate and improve their financial environment. Your idea of adopting them out to those with money is not feasible and cruel.
Is it really fair to say that orphanage staff are out to "line their pockets" ? How much do these staffers get paid? And if they make a living looking after orphans, what is inherently wrong with that? Pardon the pun, but when it comes to orphanages let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Thank you for sharing this very crucial information.
Good information indeed, thank you brother. God bless!
