This season had the best vibe ever. No other tv series season left me with a great wish to rewatch it again over and over.

@@endcap it’s something about an apocalypse building up in a zombie movie/show that always gets me! It’s like you get to see life as it is, than chaos start to build up,people panicking, streets are going crazy, military being involved, just so hectic! It always makes my “what if we lived in zombie apocalypse”’question come to life. From less kids being dropped off at the school, student bringing a pocket knife( later seeing him scavenging food , as Madison and the student part ways you wish them luck and later in your journey you wonder how he and others are alive or dead), Nicks reporting of cannibalism, Maddison seeing a limping black silhouette outside of the school window and Chris joining protests(when little did they know shit was going to hit the fan) 😨. The beginning of an apocalypse is sooooo intriguing!
The end of season one on the shore after Liza's death still gives me chills! 🌊
I loved season 1, seeing how the apocalypse started was great, I just wish we could have seen more of the society breakdown and stuff, but overall it was cool, but then they ruined the show with constant time jumps. Season 3 was great, but still the fact that they rushed deep into the apocalypse instead of showing more of the early days is just so dissapointing. Season 2 and 4 were horrendous.
Exactly. I would've loved to see more of the early stuff, about how society broke down. That's still the most interesting part for me. It's why I've watched the first episode like 3-4 times.
@@vesk4000 I think the 3rd episode did the early days the best. the next episode should have shown the panic at supermarkets, gangs taking over the streets and fighting off what’s left of first responders etc before instantly jumping to the military take over.
AMC didn’t want to spend the money to do it right. It had great potential but it was a letdown because it was so rushed.

Only thing I hated about season 1 was how over the top daniel's plan was. Yes, send thousands of walkers at the National Guard, putting the lives of hundreds of soldiers, innocent people, doctors and loved ones into mortal peril, all the while undoing all the work that the army have risked their lives the last few weeks to contain the infected ones.........to "rescue" 3 people who were never in any danger, and 2 of which died anyway. gg daniel. killed probably like 100 mostly innocent people and filled the streets of LA with the undead to save 1 person. fucking gg. unbelievable overblown trash.
This is how it works man. Do you think Daniel gave a shit about others other than his wife and daughter??? The season 1 finale was awesome as hell. It isn't an apocalypse if everyone is kind and good to each other or have superhero morality and other stuff
They would have died either way.....At least 90% of population that were alive during Season One finale. We know that the US milatary bombed L.A, San Diego and other states (especially the cities) in the main show. They wouldn't have made it either way. Maybe a few people would have evacuated successfully but how many do you think???? A hundred? Thousand??? Very unlikely. The shit went down too soon....within a sapn of 6 episodes
This happens threw out the first several seasons. Let everyone else die. So my family can live. That mom killed so many. Doing the dumbest shit ever! Also 100s of military shooting thousands of rounds. Can not all sudden hit a slow ass walker in the head!?! Just lame. And why did they not run out the front door. To get to the next doors house. Instead of back threw a maze to race to the other house. Who does that? Director is an idiot!

Is it really worth watching? I remember watching FTWD Season 1 and a little of Season 2 when they first released but I've been wondering if I should re-watch the show if it's worth it, I love TWD I'm just not sure if Fear is as good.
Watch the recaps and if you have time watch eps 201, 203, 210, 211, 214 of season 2 (the least slow and more important episodes). Watch all S3 which is very good.

I honestly miss this fear, now adays it does even feel like fear at all.
They really dropped the ball (and then kicked it off of a cliff) with seasons 4 and especially 5... I can't even watch this garbage anymore, have to stick with re watches of seasons 1 - 3

Where would I go from LA on a boat? 1st things 1st; We're gonna need a bigger boat. 200 people can run a 5000 person capacity cruise ship, they have their own water distillery system and water cannons for defense as well as fully equipped medical facilities and a helicopter pad. Oh yeah, a decent one would have waterslides, 'cause nothin can take your mind off your troubles like a good ol' slide down a slippery plastic tube.

Thank god this video was made, now I can go onto season 2 and not watch the rest of the first season.
My recommendation is to skip most of S2 unless u want to stab yourself in the head. Madison gets even worse, nick same, travis same, chris becomes most annoying human to ever breathe air. There are a few goodish episodes which are faster paced and actually not bad (minus every chris scene to even exist). These are the less terrible episodes (some with very decent actions sequences and some characters using their brain and a good recap of what happened): 201, 203, 210, 211, 214...and mayyybe 209 (which is when the transition from idiotic ppl to a bit more thinking ppl starts occurring...at least for some of the characters).
First and second season are way better than season 4 and 5
The first season's a great introduction to the apocalypse imo. Once you skip the first few and get to seasons 4 and 5 you'll rather watch the first seasons.
Fear ended when the damn blew I’m hear for the nostalgia of when fear was was good 😌

I tried to make a genuine effort to watch this show since I am a fan of the Walking Dead, but I could not get into this show. I remember first watching this and I was excited. I turned it off 20 minutes into the episode. Those characters were just not likeable.
You dodged a Bullet , I watched the next 2 seasons , and the crachters get even more unlikable , other than Travis dying I don’t care, FEAR is the WORST TV show I’ve ever seen , season 2 and 3 are big steaming pile of shit.

It's 2022 and these characters that were set up in season 1 never came back! Tobias, beaten up solider who has a vendetta against Daniel, Doctor who was left behind at the military compound. Don't get me started on season 2 characters that were set up and who never made an appearance again either!
A lot of interesting characters came and went throughout s1-s3, not sure about the rest of the show. I stopped watching after season 4 bc how awful it got after the reboot with Morgan.

In my opinion fear the walking dead seasons 1-3 is the best show of all time nothing tops it and it’s gonna be that way for a long time but season 4 and after that is not fear the walking dead it’s like a rip off zombie show but I will always remember how great the show was
