How LulaRoe Treats Their Consultants

- Here is a great example of how LulaRoe treats their 'independent contractors.' I was fired from a job even though I wasn't an employee, because they said we were not within p&p even though p&p clearly states that you're allowed to have sales. And as a bonus, they still have $517 + tax of my money on missing and back ordered items from Sept-Dec 2016.

Girl, thank your lucky stars that you were kicked out of "retail scientology" It's time to Lawyer up and take care of business. It's time for LuLaRoe to be knocked down some pegs and realize that it's success is owed only to their consultants. Without you guys they are nothing. If they don't change there behavior soon, they will regret it, after all Honey&Lace is right on their heels along with Agnes&Dora and many other at home retail sales. These new comers can easily learn from LuLaRoe's mistakes and better the system making it much more appealing for LLR disillusioned consultants to make an easy transition. LLR is losing many many consultants on a monthly basis. I wish you and your business partners the best of luck and I hope you take this as, not a failure, but rather a valuable lesson.

I am wondering what they think about all the people selling on eBAY for below retail and or WAY above?
oddly if I want something interesting... or a "unicorn"....I go to EBAY. A lot of consultants if they get something "rare" they put it on EBAY. Nice pattern or something people want (or you know they will WANT), it goes up on Ebay without any way for LLR to tell who his doing this. For me to find something from the consultant I TRUST, I really trust to make things right if I don't like the product......is so hard. Because, she is known as a great consultant and takes care of her customers. But she only has so much. So it's off to EBAY...where you can find that pair of leggings that follows the rules of your job. Weird turquoise leggings, NO, basic gray, YES. Ebay.
The page should become an anti MLM page.

I worked in a hotel where room prices could be at our own discretion. On weeknights when no events were happening in town, I'd sell rooms low, hoping to keep all walk in traffic in my hotel, not to the many competitors also off my exit ramp. I did quite well and housekeeping knew to staff properly on days that I worked.
The owners decide to get a nightmare manager. He reprimanded me for filling the hotel with lower prices. But the other hotel, under the same owner and manager, gets kudos for selling a total of three rooms at a high price. She sold a TOTAL of three rooms!
The issue. You're making people think we have bad rooms. Not, you lost us money or anything like that. It was, you're making us look cheap.
I'm sorry. But price alone does not influence what people think of products. People have their own minds. I thought it was only my stupid boss. I did not know that companies actually thought like that.

I usually don't reply to video but I want to commend you on how levelheaded you handled your situation. You did not say a false word yet lularoe chose to make a very bad decision. They are counting on everyone they treat like you to not fight back due to the costly attorney fees involved. They think they are big and scary but truth be told... they just have everyone's money and by continuing to onboard they are guaranteed more just to keep things going, but in truth, I truly believe they are holding on by a hangnail. The lawsuits that are still pending will destroy them. Even though they have refunded sales tax to some, I understand the lawsuit is still in place. When I first bought lularoe a few years ago I notified the home office of the error of the charge of sales tax for my state (PA). I am a former paratax consultant for a CPA firm and former controller where I had to know the sales and use tax laws. I told them that and all I got was... we'll look into it. Well, someone who got more upset than me met with an attorney and they filed the class action. And o commend the two consultants who filed the class action over the quality issue. Someone needs to hold them accountable for their inaction because they were informed and chose to do nothing except make excuses. Which is what they are doing to you. Who wants to pay full price for ugly prints that have a 50/50 chance of blowing a hole in them? I still wear leggings nearly every day but I am housebound and sometimes bed bound due to my disability. I can't afford anything but leggings but the GOOB sales have provided me opportunities occasionally to try to buy a top it two. God bless you as you figure out your future. You have a good head on your shoulders!

I feel bad that you got caught up in LLR, but some of the things you're saying here is just not correct. YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH LLR. That means you cannot do whatever you want. Everything you do must conform to the terms you agreed to when you signed that contract. I don't know why you don't get that. Also, good luck with suing them, as in that same contract you agreed to settle your disputes with them via binding arbitration. LLR is scam that preys on vulnerable women - just get out now before they go bankrupt.
Rose White Yeah. It seems like they don't really want to be LulaRoe consultants. They just want to find loopholes and play their own game.
I signed a contract and was within the contract as we knew it to be. They enforce rules that are not black and white but rather make stuff up as they go to get rid of people that don't fart unicorn sparkles. I don't know what you don't get about that.

I am truly sorry that you have had such a rough time and experience! No one deserves to feel the heartbreak that you clearly feel. I am a current retailer- I do want to mention that I have constantly been impressed with LuLaRoe and how they treat us consultants (they are not perfect - absolutely. but I see way more consistent positive than the occasional negative glitches). There have been a large number of consultants feeling really hurt and discouraged by such a large number of sales happening, LuLaRoe really is trying to protect their consultants. I know it doesn't feel like that to you, and I don't blame you for feeling so hurt and frustrated. I'm not sure if you've watched any or many of the Home Office update calls and training videos that happen weekly, but I feel at least a few of those calls that I've seen since I joined in November clarified the reasoning, intention, and expectations of that aspect of the P&Ps. If you don't come back to LuLaRoe - I hope you find something that makes you happy, we all deserve happiness! Oh yea, and btw - a few months/couple months back LuLaRoe changed the system for reporting missing or back-ordered items - there is a link/form in the back office that you complete and my missing and backordered items from November were re-imbursed quite quickly once I submitted those. Those old email addresses may not be checked and processed now that they use the links on the website. I hope you figure it out!
