Lol- definitely difficult at times!! I always tell my kids- it's something to work toward even if they aren't quite there! When they realize they aren't using intention, it often helps them to understand how to focus toward it!!
Hello also wondering if you or anyone could give me some advice on a wheel. I’m looking to buy a new one but not sure what brand to buy. If anyone could help or suggest some so I can do some research on them I’d appreciate it
I don't know it this one would help you, but I go over centering and coning a bit more extensively in this one! th-cam.com/video/tt_h1QEfg68/w-d-xo.html
That is a LOT of clay and you handled it so easily. I am curious why you didn't do a some sort of foot or at least indent the bottom to prevent it from rocking.
I don’t ever really put footrings on my planters, I leave their bases flat, sometimes carve a little notch in the bottom for an area for it to drain away from the hole if it doesn’t sit on a catch plate. I’ve never had a problem with them not being flat! The weight of that one in particular would flatten it out during firing if it had a little bow to it!
Awesome, thank you. I’ve always wanted to throw big but 🤷♀️. I held my breath quite a lot in this video lol - thanks for the breaks lol
"make your craft and design intentional, not accidental" - sums me up heh.. i'll keep on trying tho :) .. thanks for the video :)
