Would love to see it. Went to the previous 2 shows and these 2 and this is almost as good as the night before in Pittsburgh. I personally like this more but I know the heads will not be pleased with such "slander." My Friend opener, You Ain't Going Nowhere, Spock's, On Your Way Down, this, and then the YEM?! With an evil Twist? Prettay, prettay good...
Does anyone remember the boos at the end of this show? They played Secret Smile encore and a bunch of the crowd booed. Which is weird for many reasons but for me, I remember this show not hitting that ‘Phishy place’ but since then it’s become one of my all time most listened to shows. Phish does that sometimes
The 25 min mark is where things really get Dark. Some people say 2.0 was sloppy but I think it was as experimental as they ever got. Just Listen to the Tower Jam!
@@jeffg7478 Thank you bro!! Finally someone else who gets it. The composed parts were probably their worst 03-04 but Idc what anyone says you're never gonna convince me that era didn't have some of their best jams ever. Fall-Summer 03 in particular is fucking absolutely outstanding
I remember being at this show (my 2nd one). Totally didn't get it at the time. A 30 min Scents?? But it all makes sense now- this is a masterpiece. It's been a joy to re-discover 2.0 Phish.
just wanted to point out that 2 shows prior on 07/27/03, Mike had the most disastrous show of his career, hahah. i love Mike though, and i know what you're sayin. just thought it was a little ironic.
@@BootsORiley no shit! i was at IT… gonna have to check out the show u speak of…bc i’m dat kind of a superdork freak fan of these fools, and i eat up random tidbits such as urs-ty for info:)
Was on this tour, We (tour crew) kept talking about when they would eally blow this up? The 30 min Deer Creek opener gave us idea but this & than IT'S were just epic. I f*#@%ing love SASS but unless they relearn intro would rather song stayed on shelf
I agree, it’s not the same without the intro. I was at this show, I was at shoreline for the first ever and have seen so many of them. But yes this and IT are the two best ever. Summer 2003 is the most under appreciated your ever

On the DVD of the making of the album called 'specimens of beauty'.... Trey is not only being hilarious bc he's caught a nice buzz... But they do a 46days jam that is absolutely mind-blowing... Look it up
niiice! IT was dope as fuk…. i spent most of the tower jam rummaging through the trunk of the car, rollin my tits off-thought i was only rummaging for a few mins, but then as the tower jam was ending, i was like, damn, my sense of time is clearly off!
@@gazicj that’s great! Oddly enough me and my buddy were walking right past the tower as it started buzzing. So luckily I was as close to the tower as you could possibly be, during the jam. Epic times
Phish had a very Jazzy tone (Trey) in 2.0. I think it carried on from when Trey was ripping it with TAB in 2001&2002. Those TAB 2001 shows were hot as hell
about 8:15ish I'm guessing Trey motions to take A way out there? someone more versed in music could probably explain better still one of the best jams they've ever played and the definitive version of one of their absolute best songs.
This jam so good it has me hittin the yoinkey sploinkey
Everytime I hear this song, My enjoyment of it increases exponentially 🍄🐟🐟🐟🍄🔥🍄
I listen to this at least once a week
Sounds like a plan!
I was there that day, and had my leg pissed on by a guy who didn't even realize that he was relieving himself.
Richy Rich omg that was YOU?!
That sucks.
nice
Maybe he was enamored by the colors in his void?
Sorry for partying.
This is just so unbelievably good. I got the chills real good around 21:00 (but let's be real I had them the entire song). Top notch jams.
holy shit maybe the best ever jam of any phish era to grace my ears, in my opinion
is there footage of the rest of this show?? because the whole show is absolutely killer.

they should bring back these lo-fi visuals for a tour

It's a solid show sans the encore
I would boo a Secret Smile encore

Enjoy all the shitty playing from Trey and the band being sad about it.
my first Phish show, in HS. agreed
i agree i thought it was a bad show in attendance now it is one of my favorites so many rarities almost as good as Star Lake the night before
wow.... i want this tape! or DVD or whatever.
Corbin can you post the YEM?
8 track, microfilm whatever we can get
who in gods name thumbs downed this. who are you and why
The sound is awesome. Listen through headphones. Mike is on, as usual.

Totally a "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" inspired jam! Love It!

The biggest redemption jam. Trey really shat the bed in the composed part

I was at this show, my first Phish show in high school.
Same but with Dicks 2021 Sunday, changed my life.

one of the best jams of all time
i still agree with myself
The best version eva
was there best I've ever seen
fantastic, simply fantastic
20:30
Love me some oxy trey
apparently-i have no idea how accurate this is-trey had cleaned up prior to the summer tour…then relapsed during IT weekend…
Yes supposedly was totally sober and juicing in between sets. Was the calm before the storm.
my first Phish show!
fuk yeah, congrats
killin it, ty
Need more of these
100% agreed. Although tonight's Lemon Poppy Seed version was super solid and i have nothing to complain about.
Such a brilliant version
Why do i think leminey snicketts when i hear this....
