I was actually a mechanic on those Gilbert tanks when I was in the Marines. They are called AAVs amphibious assault vehicles. Really cool to see them being featured in a fps with a true combat events attached to it.
AAV, Amphibious Assault Vehicle, US Marine Corps. They float and have water jets for propulsion in the water. The Navy has ships with doors and a ramp that open up and you just drive off the back into the ocean. They'd drop us 25 miles+ at sea and we'd come into the beach and then the tracks (treads for civilians) dig in and you can drive on land. M85 rapid-fire .50 cal machinegun and Mk 19 automatic grenade launcher.
i played this a lot when it came out. loved it. its not easy alone thought. have only got one mission successful, and wasn't on that mode. lol. sniper or the soldiers always seem to get me before get to second floor. lol
With the new "situation" of DMZ, are you going to try/continue with other extraction shooters (the hunt, tarkov, etc…) ? I like a lot your content and would continue to watch whatever the games you play on
I sure will! It won’t just be extraction games though. I will just play whatever I find fun or whatever I think people would fond interesting. You can definitely expect more Hunt Showdown and maybe even Tarkov. Tarkov is a game I really want to get into, but boy oh boy does it have a learning curve.
@@ON1C I had to stop playing the game as the mechanics rely too much on cheese in my opinion. Saying that, learning the game and early game was really fun.
Delta Force very soon. It has been resurrected and coming to take the crown from BF and COD. There extraction mode already looks better than DMZ and since that will be gone there will not be any competition (Tarkov is more sim to be compared.) and everyone knows the state of BF. Can't wait. Seems like there extraction mode is a perfect mix of Tarkov and DMZ. Not to sim and not to arcade. Not to mention it's going to have one of the best campaigns I have ever played, made with the latest tech. They have a big budget too, so they are going for the top spot.
Squad is one of the games I purchased on black Friday 😏. Not sure how soon I’ll make a video on it though. I have some other games I want to play first.

They will push you a decent bit. It took me a long time to complete this mission because of that. But it is true that in this particular session, they did not push me too much.
@@ON1C wouldn't it be amazing if they reacted to gunfire, fell back, flanked in a more realistic way and grouped up to push you. Not being negative, but a single enemy that waits to be killed feels unrealistic to me. Nice run though mate.

the 'tac stance' in this is so cool, the way you're looking over the scope feels more realistic than the 'gangster grip' in mw3 😂
Gangster grip makes sense since most of the guns loses their ironsight if you equip sights on.

To be fair i was there and some of the insurgents would hide in rooms and wait until you came in to clear the room.
